“This was our third here and as during the previous two we were extremely happy with our visit. This time we got to meet the owner and we were all very impressed with him. Staff is great, wine is wonderful which my wife her friend enjoyed, and there were several beers option for my buddy and me to choose from. We sat outside and enjoyed a relaxing time with the smell of pine trees topping our experience. We will be back again and again.“

“I’m so thankful I discovered Zoe’s! It’s like having Ian’s pizza but with way better crust. 🤣❤️ I get my nails done in Waunakee and my nail girl told me about this place. Bet I come here every time I get my nails done! Today I had their special - chorizo - and when I say it was BOMB I mean it!!! This pizza is so dang good, and every flavor I try has been consistently delicious. 🍕 😍 lunch prices are amazing too! I highly recommend giving this place a try even just for a slice.“

“My now wife had our wedding there this past weekend and it was absolutley perfect!!! Everyone was so accommodating and welcoming. Huge shout outs to Rose, Caleb, Jonathan, Sam, Mario and Kaira for their amazing service and friendship that made out big day the best it could possibly be. The Landing is extremely highly reccomened by my wife and I for weddings of about 100+ people or so. We will remember our time there forever and looking forward to coming back for casual dining and reminiscing of the romance and good times!“

“We had heard good things about Lallande and we were not disappointed. We ate at the bar which I would highly recommend. Our server was Nina and she made the evening fun. I had the salmon and my husband had the lamb chops. Generous portions and absolutely delicious. We also had the chicken pate which was so good. But the highlight for us was the carrot tarte. A must have, if you go.The owner Ann Marie was working in the kitchen keeping all the balls in the air, but she took time to visit with us and made us feel extra welcome. Do yourself a favor and dine at Lallande on Monroe St. Perhaps we'll see you there because we'll be back! Five stars.“

“Been going for years and now take my toddler once a week. I love walking in, everyone knowing us, sometimes getting our regular table (if we're early enough) and chatting with some of the other regulars. Prices are great, you get a ton of food and the staff is always friendly. Extra bonus they open early for my early riser toddler!!“

We ended up trying the deviled eggs and the banana sundae based on her suggestions, and both were SO good. “Good for what it is. Order from counter. Only option is dumplings. Meat, potato, or mix. 1/2 order or full. Select your toppings. Drinks available from cooler. Sit down in another room and they call you when it is ready, or takeout. We got 1/2 order meat and 1/2 potato, both with all fixings which was enough for a light lunch for the three of us. All fixings worked well together. Meat were tastier than potato, which were bland except for fixings. Person at counter was helpful. We bussed our own table. So service was fine for what it was. Eating room was fine. Bathrooms (2 nongender) were small and functional, but worn and well-used.“

“I've eaten all over the world, this is one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in my life. It's not fussy and rehearsed to the moment, instead down to earth, delicious and free flowing with a 90s hip hop soundtrack and laughter abounding. Run do not walk to this restaurant.“

“Ate here with our family during a vacation in the Madison, WI area. Food was excellent & the service was quick & friendly. We enjoyed it so much, we came back the next night for appetizers.“

“My family and I had a marvelous dinner here. The food was excellent and plentiful, the service was great, and the restaurant is charming. We had the stir-fry beef noodles, thukpa (soup) and the lamb thali, as well as momos for the table and it was all tasty. We also had a lovely conversation with one of the staff about Tibet and Nepal and the regional differences in cuisine. The place is a bit on the small side so you may have to wait for a table, but it is very much worth the wait. I intend to make this a regular stop when I am in Madison.“

And the random delivery of small plates, which was to be expected, could have been a little bit more even for our table of four. “This cafe has many delicious options for food. It however does not have celiac safe options. The cross contamination is too high. They do note this if you call them by stating that they can't guarantee there isn't. But I would not eat here if you have celiacs because I did twice and it made me incredibly sick. Again the food in my opinion is delicious, it just isn't celiacs safe.“
