“We had heard good things about Lallande and we were not disappointed. We ate at the bar which I would highly recommend. Our server was Nina and she made the evening fun. I had the salmon and my husband had the lamb chops. Generous portions and absolutely delicious. We also had the chicken pate which was so good. But the highlight for us was the carrot tarte. A must have, if you go.The owner Ann Marie was working in the kitchen keeping all the balls in the air, but she took time to visit with us and made us feel extra welcome. Do yourself a favor and dine at Lallande on Monroe St. Perhaps we'll see you there because we'll be back! Five stars.“

“Sat outside after the farmers market and had a really nice brunch. Saffron was our server and she was very helpful. Omelette with ham and cheese was delicious and candidly doesn’t even need the hollandaise sauce. Ham sandwich was great also.

“Amazing momo! Dining room is cozy & seated our group of 5. Eleanor was an amazing server on her 3rd day in food service. Every dish/drink was delicious & had great spice level. Definitely get the momo extra spicy pan-fried - flavor bombs! Best masala chai I've ever had. Great environment for family style & sharing. Bountiful vegan options (see below). Will definitely be returning for the momo alone. Finish your meal with the gulab jamun, you won't regret it. Thanks for a great Tibetan meal!

“This cafe has many delicious options for food. It however does not have celiac safe options. The cross contamination is too high. They do note this if you call them by stating that they can't guarantee there isn't. But I would not eat here if you have celiacs because I did twice and it made me incredibly sick. Again the food in my opinion is delicious, it just isn't celiacs safe.“

It's a unique take on something I've seen in every form, but they get it right with little surprises in every bite. Do yourself a favor and get the orange juice. The fresh sweetness really helps stabilize the slight spice and heaviness of the food.“

They opened in 2019, and have been making some very good beer since Day 1. Note the name, Delta, too. A nod to precision. Change. And many more really good things about this brewery - and what they've done for others. Their coffee porters are really excellent. And a recent, barrel-aged, stout, by the name of Admiral (using J. Henry bourbon barrels) was excellent. There are many beer styles to choose from, and you're bound to find something you like - easily. (Some cocktails, too, are being offered.) Shuffleboard, darts, and vinyl records will be spinning at times here, too. When in the Madison area, and you're looking for a solid place with very good beers and a place to hang out for a while, this one should be on your list.“

“We came for lunch, as I was looking for a good ribeye. Immediately felt at ease upon entering. Even though it appeared pretty busy, we were sat right away. We needed time to peruse the menu, and our server Jordan never made us feel rushed. He brought us water, and gave us some time. We had the spinach dip, bone in ribeye, and ahi tuna steak. It was obvious that the dip was freshly made, and my rare ribeye was the best steak I’ve had in a long time. The housemade chive butter was also excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the music stylings were en pointe for my taste. This is the kind of establishment I love to support.“
