“Everything we ate here was amazing. The bunny-less balls had a really great sauce on them. My husband's "burger" had their own seasoning on it which he said made it a lot better than your basic plant based burger, plus of course the delicious toppings! I had a gardein chickn sandwich, which our server said they also hand breades and it was delicious. So big I couldn't finish it. They have several options for sides and I went with delicious fresh fruit and husband got fries. They offer beers and kombucha and wine, plus sodas and stuff. Great dining experience and I was told we need to go back for the brunch crepes!“

“Lallande is my first stop for out of town guests, as I have no doubt that the food, ambience, and service will always be top-tier. The food is generally a rustic French style; it’s cozier and more accessible than you might expect of French “fine dining.” My visitors are always hugely impressed by the experience.

Annemarie (owner) and Ellie (manager) are attuned to every little detail and frequently stop to visit with guests at their tables to make everyone feel personally welcome. The staff are very helpful with making decisions and planning your meal if you’re not sure how much food to order.

From the menu, the carrots are a standout, as is the tarragon chicken. All of their seasonal desserts are thoughtfully composed, and the ice cream is made in-house! I typically like to start with the seasonal tarte flambee, then share the chef selection of cheese (sometimes adding a meat to go with it).

This is also a great restaurant to mark a special occasion! They will be sure to make your evening special and may even send out a complimentary side or dessert to help celebrate :)“

“This is our go-to pizza spot for a reliable, DELICIOUS pizza. Ordering online is easy and pick up orders are usually ready very quickly. Recommend a build your own pizza, add extra cheese, then whatever other toppings you prefer. When it’s on the menu, their spicy cheese bread is delightful. Wings are fantastic (try the Alabama white sauce). Also a fun date spot for dine in.“

“This is our second visit. We tried out the restaurant week menu this time and dishes are tasteful. We are very satisfied and will come back for sure. The pork is supposed to be medium, according to the server. But it might be a bit too raw for us so in the end we got a new plate with pork well done. You might notice we got three desserts and that is because of a small mistake but we are happy to try out all three desserts. Server was professional, friendly and very attentive . This is my favorite restaurant in Madison!“

The passion fruit juice is a most, sweet and tangy, it transports me to my roots when sharing meals with family back in Venezuela. I could use the guasacaca over everything, rice, sweet plantains, as a dressing or over their delicious pork belly or churrasco. AMAZING FLAVORS!!!

“The Globe is one of my go-to, favorite restaurants here in Madison. I highly recommend their Chili Buff and Korean BBQ with Rice (I've heard the Korean BBQ Noodles are awesome as well). I've had their vegetarian and chicken variations, and both have been flavorful, well-cooked (the chicken is very good and doesn't have chewy or "ick" textures). They're also very helpful with allergy restrictions, including peanut allergies. Additionally, they have extensive vegetarian options and alternatives for their menu items. If you haven't gone here before (delivery, carry-out, and/or in-person dining) I'd definitely recommend trying their dishes!“

“I ate at Parthenon's with my husband, and ordered an extra gyro and fries to go for a friend who was having to celebrate his birthday in the hospital (the only thing he wanted for his birthday was a gyro from Parthenon's). I discussed his dietary needs with the staff. They waited until we were almost done with our meal before they started preparing the "to go" part of my order to assure it was fresh and hot. They also heard my concerns and came up with accommodations to the preparation of his food. Great food, amazing staff who went above and beyond! “One of my favorite foods is pastys, I was excited to learn about this place, otherwise you would find them normal in the u.p area of Wisconsin. All of the varieties are great! Had the chicken tikka masala one today, was awesome! I do like they wrap it in foil, because my 40min drive home it's still warm!“

“Went here for lunch on a Saturday, so it's not easy to describe the atmosphere, but the food was very good. I got the Rock Burger, and the sauce and smoked Gouda work very well with the burger.

It doesn't help that I don't drink, so I can't really mention anything about the drinks ?“

“I love Marigold Kitchen! I was so worried that after it sold to the new owners it would lose it's charm but everything pretty much feels the same. The staff is always nice even when in a rush!

I just love the special touch of having flowers on the table and an area that you can get nice cold water quickly and easily.

I do wish that they had a few more fun vegetarian dishes. I absolutely love the mushroom and Gouda omelet and the lemon ricotta pancakes, which has been a stable for as long as I can remember. We recently tried the special Door County Cherry pancakes and unfortunately they did not fully hit the mark for me. They just didn't have the cherry punch I was hoping for. They were ok if not a little "pedestrian" for lack of a better descriptor. But the Cherry Bomb, Blast, Something or other drink was my new fav!!! Layers of cherry smoothie type stuff with cream and tea (I think). So pretty and so so yum! Try this one! It was truly an unexpected de-lite.

“Good drinks menu but the food was so-so. Flavors unremarkable. No information on the menu for those who are lactose or gluten intolerant which is easy to flag on menus these days. And the random delivery of small plates, which was to be expected, could have been a little bit more even for our table of four. And worth letting us know, when we order, which dishes might take quite a bit longer to prepare and deliver. Nice ambiance and good lighting. 3/5.“

“Amazing customer service from Claudia. She was very responsive, helpful and creative in getting our vision for our wedding perfectly. We had very delicious and generous portions for the tres leches cake tasting that was set up! It was so moist and sweet, just how I like it. We ended up doing a variety of oreo, strawberry, and vanilla tres leches, along with Mexican wedding cookies and brownies, which were a highlight of our wedding day. The communication was great, we didn't worry about delivery or even knew they had arrived to deliver the desserts! It all just appeared at the venue, looking better than I had imagined. “Very good beers and I loved the aesthetic. I had the Black is Beautiful Black IPA and the Pride Beer. Both unique and delish. They also had a craft fair/sale going on inside and outside which was super fun. It’s pretty kid friendly as there is good food options and games to play with a good amount of outdoor seating. It was pretty busy, but still felt that service was a tad slow given that we were sitting at the bar. Other than that, I would recommend!“

“We had a great time at brunch. It was busy - it seems popular with young families. We had the daily scramble and the blueberry basil waffle special, and both were excellent. The waffle was especially impressive with house made berry compote and flavored whipped butter. Overall this place seems quite a high value for the price point.

They have very efficient counter service and a laid back atmosphere. Casual or even workout clothes for right in. The space is brightly lit and cheery.“

It’s my current hyper-fixation meal but from time to time, I like to spice it up with the delicious Steak Tacos and Poke Bowl!
