This was a great experience during restaurant week. The food was so good - my main dish was ahi tuna, but all 5 of us enjoyed our 3 course meals. The waitresses were very kind and the meal came quickly. It was a very quiet space for being so expansive.
Surprisingly good dinner for a restaurant in a campus building! Food was excellent with lovely presentation. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. Overall a great experience.
Really tasty! Nice menu choices - not exotic yet nice set of offerings - plenty for veggies and non veggies alike! Go for the happy hour where 3 choice bites are 50% off. Great service, this place fit the bill!

Steenbock's On Orchard is a restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, lots of light and space. While parking can be a challenge, especially during lunchtime when the University of Wisconsin is in session, there are free parking options available in the back of the Discovery parking lot. The service can be slow, but the food is surprisingly delicious. There are nice menu choices for both veggies and non-veggies, including notable dishes like the Smash Burger and Club Sandwich. The food is simple but tasty, with sandwiches, salads, and burgers among the offerings. Some dishes, like the $15 Mushroom Caesar, may be underwhelming. However, happy hour is a highlight, with 50% off bites and fair prices on items like fried pickles, cheese curds, and nachos. Steenbock's On Orchard also features a nice selection of whisky and spirits, making it a great spot for a drink. Despite some inconsistencies, it is worth trying, especially during less busy times or for trivia nights on Wednesdays.
