“Great food great service! I had the ribeye and it was well seasoned and very tasty! The place was hopping on a Saturday night! I enjoyed the brief menu, always feel they focus on what they are good at. Friend had prime rib and loved it and enjoyed the molten lava cake for dessert!”

If you want a weekend, it's best to get a reservation earlier in the day.Parking: P & L is located downtown, so there is usually plenty of parking.”

“I go there because, I like the old furnishings the old fashion feel. It takes me back to the days when I was just a young boy eight years old my grandmother had an old café in Little Rock Arkansas. Those days are long gone, but I still get the feeling when I walk into the Corner Café the food is handmade, fresh, not frozen, which means a lot in this day and age. If you want good wholesome food with a wonderful atmosphere of country folk. Stop in and give it a try.Parking: I noticed there are about three stalls in front of the restaurant and to the side of the restaurant. There are about five stalls. And across the street in both directions there are parking lots available. So there’s plenty of parking as well as handicap parkingKid-friendliness: Yes, I believe this place is kid friendly. There is basically no where for the children to disappear on the premises as everything is wide-open there are several booths and there are stools at the counter, and a couple of tables. It is very cozy and family orientated Great for kids and parents.”

“This place is phenomenal! Every single thing we've ever ordered here is wonderful! The pickle fries? Amazing! Burgers and Sammy's? Delicious! But let me tell you about the pizza... even if we are in the vicinity of Monroe we somehow manage to make it here for the PIZZA! Oh but wait!!! They make this mustard in the yellow bottle there that is the best mustard I've ever had and I dont like any mustard but yellow so get something (I suggest the sheese curds) to dip in the MUSTARD! Karessa is efficient and quick with a pleasant smile and attitude! We look forward to our next visit ?”

“We felt like important guests even though the restaurant was quite full. It was great to watch the staff work together to solve problems with ZERO attitude or negativity. “I was a little leery when we walked in. Place seemed to be filled with regulars and there was 1 person behind the bar. However, we were waited on within 2 minutes of sitting down and everyone there was friendly. Bartender was great. Food was good and fairly priced.”

“Great guacamole and fresh tortilla chips. Food was well flavored, meat was tender, rice was nice and fluffy and the beans nice a creamy. This is the by far the best Mexican restaurant in town.”

“Visiting family in Freeport IL they took us to Vince's for dinner. Lasagna being my favorite dish, I ordered it. When it arrived it was a healthy serving and it literally appeared like a large jar of sauce was dumped on top of it. Not ever seeing Lasagna served liked this I wasn't sure how to react. After clearing the excessive sauce I was pleased with my first bite. Well seasoned and quite pleasing. Garlic bread was fresh and the potato soup was delightful. Everyone else in our party was pleased with their choices. I did sample the Fettuccine Alfredo and it was scrumptious. The servings were huge and Leftovers were just as good the following day. Looking forward to trying other items from the menu on our next visit. Highly recommend.”
