“Stopped in for Breakfast, were seated quickly even without a reservation, server took our drink orders right away, asked about food allergies offered us their daily special and helpful suggestions to help decide. Food arrived right away, looked and tasted fantastic.“

“I only had a few minutes to stop on our way home, we showed up on Saturday morning as they were opening. The girl who helped me was very nice and knowledgeable, I always wanted to stop here and was sad I didn’t have more time to try somethings but I knew I wanted to buy some rum and whiskey, they had very cool glassware as well so I bought a rocker glass, engraved wish I had bought 2, thanks again to the girl that helped me, can’t wait to come back and try some drinks, definitely going to get 3 more glasses.“

“This is the best place for dinner in Galena. Been to Galena multiple times. Log cabin is good, as well as Fried Green Tomatoes. This is my favorite for atmosphere, food, and service. Never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that visits Galena.“

“No frills here, no main street, located near Culver’s, just a good breakfast stop with reasonable prices. We used to come here a lot as a family, until my wife became gluten-free, and then the visits stopped. Because they had very little as far as gluten-free options. I was in town alone, so I was able to have breakfast. I really enjoyed French toast, bacon, hot chocolate, all delicious. Sounds like there’s a new general manager, I spoke to her a little bit about possibly getting some gluten-free bread in stock and offering French toast, etc. for gluten-free options. Hopefully at some point they add the option.“

“4.5 really, enjoyed a nice meal in the middle of the week. Nice selection of wine and several tasty appetizers to choose from. Brussels spouts were good enough to order 2 of. I got the lobster and scallops over ravioli and it was outstanding. Our server was very nice and told us all about the area and gave suggestions on other things to try while out this way. Dessert was perhaps the only thing I would say they missed on, it was premade, refrigerated chocolate cake. Good but not amazing. Price for 2 was $125 before tip. It was mid week and there was only one other table seated which made the place feel a little expansive and hollow.“

“This place is worth the drive. Finding other area restaurants closed on Mondays, we came here for an early dinner. Our table was next to the window with a great view of the Mississippi. Service was good and wait time was decent. We had good service and good food at a reasonable price. The chicken noodle soup was very good. I’m not a fan of onion rings, but we ordered them and they didn’t disappoint. Barbecue chicken wings were on par with most restaurants. Google lists this restaurant as Sunset Grille, but we ate in the section called “The Summit” next door on the property. Menu is reportedly the same.“

“My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Vinny's. We were located in the front dining room by a window and loved the decor and views. The stuffed shells were the best we've ever had. The lasagna is prepared the original way. Great salad. Nice wine selection and the dessert was delicious.“
