“First time dining in, we had a large deep dish meat lovers, and garlic bread with cheese. It was so good. And so filling that we could only eat one piece each, so we brought home a lot of leftovers. I had had a thin crust pizza carry out a few years before but that wasn't my cup of tea. I wish I had tried something different sooner. Wow.“

“I'm generally not a fan of applebee's, i've had a lot of bad experiences. I was desperate for a late night steak so I gave it a shot. The steak was good and the mashed potatoes were surprisingly good. The bartender (Jessie I think) was very friendly.“

“It's a small diner that has an 80s vibe. The food was good. The portions were good. Food prices have really skyrocketed the last few years, and the omelets may have been larger before, but it's hard to make money and still have good food with giant portion sizes. I think they do a really good job balancing the two. I don't like the slices of american cheese on my hash browns too much, but I've noticed lots of places are doing this now, and I'll skip the cheese from now on. I didn't have the waffles, which looked amazing, and I'll definitely be going back to try them. The hashbrowns and my Denver omelet were pretty good, though.“

“I ate here when I lived in Clinton in the 1980s I move back to Iowa after living in the Pacific Northwest for 31 yrs The Spaghetti with meat sauce is still Excellent I used to get the Fish Sandwich and Vegetable soup way back in the 80s I noticed the soup is Chicken stock instead of beef and the Tartar Sauce for the Fish Sandwich isn't the same still though it was a Big Sandwich and was good the Pizza I think is different to.But Excellent Spaghetti and my mom liked the Lasagna. Outstanding wait staff.Still really nice to see this Restaurant is still here all these years.“
