“Great Italian food choices. We came discussing getting a pizza or calzone as a family. We ended up 2 calzones and shrimp tortellini. We also added Artison Bruschetta with goat cheese as an appetizer. Yummy! We will be back again & again & again....“

“The food is amazing! Everything is locally sourced and made from scratch and you can really taste the difference! The owner and her husband went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for us. Super nice people! Since it is all fresh and homemade it took a little while longer, but it was SO worth it! We will definitely be coming back regularly!“

“Ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes & they came with barely any icing & they were really undercooked! Usually they are the best things ever! Very disappointed. I got the Western Skillet & it was wonderful! Such a large portion, had to take home half, so didn't really miss the pancakes after all. Usually service is great, but it was a little lacking this time.“

“The guy who served us was awesome. He was super welcoming and attentive. The beer was great, too. This brewery is very unique, as it has more of a bar-vibe and also includes offerings beyond beer. If I wasn't just passing through, I'd love to visit again.“

“Was staying at a hotel nearby and decided to walk to Soi for an early dinner. The miso soup and chicken pad Thai were delicious! The proportions were great and everything came out hot and fresh. The place was pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon, only two other tables were occupied. A couple people came in for takeaway. The female waitress was very friendly and attentive.I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because the place was dimly lit and pretty tired, but again I was there for an early dinner and this location is downtown. So probably the norm on weekends.“

“This is a fun place! The outside patio is nice and they have a cool area for bands to play also. The bartender was very friendly and service was good! The inside atmosphere needs some help tho. Otherwise, this is a good place to stop and have a quick drink, or hangout with a few friends.“

“Always have LOVED their original Calzones, no other........and I mean NO OTHER Calzones compares. I was extremely upset today after driving 35 minutes to find that they were not open at 1430 on a Saturday. This is during their working hours and not on a holiday. Very disappointed.“

“Sitting on the north bank of the Rock River, this place is pretty large. We apparently went in through one of three doors so pay attention. We were early enough to pick a booth, and were promptly given menus. I checked out the salad bar but decided to try the Grilled Cheesy Burger. Just like it sounds, a grilled cheese sandwich with Texas Toast meets 1/2 pound cheeseburger. A couple of onion rings on top for good measure as well. The steak fries were a little crispy but still good. Will return again.“

“I moved to Rock Island 2 months ago meaning I had to find a new favorite Chinese Restaurant near me. I tried a few nearby and was getting worried because the I found were at most, mediocre. Then one day I stopped here to get some Egg Drop Soup for my sick boyfriend.I love Egg Drop Soup when I am ill so I figured he would too, but luckily for me, that was not his thing so I was able to consume it. It was spectacular.I returned to grab some dinner about a week or so later so I could see if the meals were as good as the soup. This time, I came home with Szechuan Shrimp. That is an old favorite but ever since the old Dragon House in Davenport closed, I had yet to find a place that could compare to their version. Until now! I devoured the meal entirely which is very unusual but I ate every bite as my other half watched in amazement at how food could send his girlfriend into such euphoria.Then, our roommate and I headed up to the place again the other night. We each purchased a meal, soup and some fired wontons. We took it home and another homer with the food.Oriental express has now officially become my go-to for Chinese cuisine. The other places in the neighborhood are not horrible, it is just that they cannot match the food perfection nor are they nearly as friendly as the beautiful girl who has waited on me every time. She is amazing herself.I do not know what the plans are for the dining room here. It is hidden by plastic tarps hanging and that does give the place a very odd "ambiance". I hope that is not a permanent look for them but even if it is, I will still get my Chinese cravings satisfied here. I recommend you do the same!“

“It's Little Ceasars. They make cheap pizza quickly so it's probably not for you if you're a connoisseur. I'm not actually a fan of the pizza unless I call and special order it but I'm feeding teenagers and they like it. The customer service at this store is good. When I've had an issue, they've rectified it. When I call in a special order, they get it right. That's better than a lot of places.“

“Nice, family friendly, good food, generous portions. Very possible to share one meal due to portion sizes. BBQ chicken was overcooked. Love both of their BBQ sauces. Offer extra sauce and sweet wash cloths when done.Parking: Limited number of spots“
