From the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was outstanding, and the food was nothing short of amazing. Every bite was packed with flavor and made with obvious care and quality.

“Mr. Panda is an absolute favorite of mine! My wife grew up in Silvis, and her parents still reside in their childhood home, just a few blocks away. Every meal we’ve had there has been exceptional. The portions are generous, and it’s always a favorite whenever we visit. My personal favorites are the Crab Rangoon and the sesame chicken. The value for money is great, and the food is prepared quickly. I can’t say enough positive things about this place. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out! You won’t regret it, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town.“

“I cannot recommend Exotic Thai enough... especially for their DELICIOUS red curry (I get mine with chicken), friendly staff, and beautiful setting. Their red curry is comfort food in a bowl, with their M-F lunch special being a perfect portion including soup & salad. Give it a try!“

“Stayed in the QC last night, up from Florida, and drove by this place late evening.... Decided to stop in and give it a try .... It was WONDERFUL!! .... I arrived and the place was PACKED!! .... Only a short wait to be seated ... The staff work as a great team helping each other out ... Food was brought pretty quickly considering how busy they were .... Got the farmers omelet and pancakes in place of the toast ... Look at those pancakes ... Light, fluffy, and the syrup was even warm .... The omelet was equally good ... “Just had a wonderful dinner at Tuggers. My husband had the meatloaf, and I had the rice bowl with seared tuna…fabulous and plenty to bring some home for lunch tomorrow. The vanilla crème brûlée old fashioned and warm apple dumpling cocktails were delicious. Our son had a burger and fries and had room for the fried cookie dough, or thought he did. He revived 3 large pieces along with a glass of milk (nice touch!). The service was fantastic, and our meal arrived quickly. Would highly recommend!“

“My friend and I came out to enjoy a nice evening in the Village and decided to stop by Brew for a bite. We were greeted by a young lady named Kaitlin, who took care of us from start to finish. She was friendly, sharp, and just the right amount of sassy to keep things fun.

She handled our table (and what looked like half the restaurant) with ease — quick, attentive, and on point the whole time. The other staff seemed solid too, but Kaitlin really stood out. She made the experience.

“We found this place while driving through from Fort Collins to Chicago and were so happy with our decision to stop. The friendliest staff, a room full of happy customers and a killer view of the river. I ordered the Pilsner and was blown away with how perfect it was. We are so glad we did. From the prompt greeting by the servers and bar staff to the made to order burger sliders with fresh cut fries everything was AMAZING! Our servers were on top of it and so friendly. The food was GREAT! Friends of our ordered the tangler burger and said it was delicious as well with their homemade chips. Pleasantly surprised all together! I had no idea they served food. Will definitely be back! But omg I was blown away, service was so friendly, smells coming from the kitchen were amazing, and when I opened up my food containers I was blown away. Large portions and absolutely delicious food. I can’t wait to come back and try more things off the menu! We tried the sesame chicken, roasted pork fried rice, chicken lo mien, and the friend chicken wings, they absolutely did not miss a beat on anything. No pictures unfortunately because we had to dig in right away lol.“

“Dough is unique, deliciously savory and always perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness and has the perfect texture that, I think, is superior to any other similar ‘Quad-Cities style’ pizza places. The pizza is absolutely amazing, but the real treasures are their calzones. For me, it’s their eggplant calzone. Eggplant can be tricky, but they slice it very thinly, use an excellent breading, fry it to perfection and layer it with creamy ricotta & rich mozzarella wrapped in that amazing dough, though occasionally they’ll not use enough filling (so, I order extra eggplant & cheese, just to be safe.) When combined with their ‘calzone sauce’ (on the side, a perfect match, bold & rich, similar to an amazing marinara but their own take, and I think it’s necessary for the full experience), it is one of my favorite meals. I’ve had pizza & calzones in so many states and cities, so many styles and varieties, but I always end up craving Pizza & Subs above all others when I’m in the mood for that. Pro tip: add eggplant to some of their pizzas, such as their garden. Another nice thing, they actually still deliver themselves, not using some service, and they deliver surprisingly quickly most of the time, for a very reasonable fee, and the people are always kind and friendly. Unfortunately, they changed their hours in the past few years and close much earlier than most pizza places, which can often be frustrating. Sometimes they’ll close randomly due to staffing issues or things that come up beyond their control. And their website is literally years out of date, and always reminds me of how much they’ve raised their prices when I go to look at their menu... But, it’s a family run joint that makes amazing food, so accepting those things is necessary even if it means I don’t get food from them as often as I used to. Otherwise, I can’t recommend Pizza & Subs highly enough as something uniquely amazing that I hope remains open for generations to come. Just wish they were able to stay open later, and their prices went down. It’s worth the splurge sometimes, though, and their pizzas are quite loaded with toppings. 🤷‍♂️“
