I gave 4 stars to food, as my walleye dish tasted "fishy" like the fish sat too long before cooking. However, everything else was excellent! My husband's meal was delicious. He ordered a more traditional Italian dish. The bread and appetizers were perfect. The tiramisu was wonderful and enough to share. The wine list was good too!
From the time we were seated until we finished our meal was timely. Everything we ordered was delicious, fried green tomatoes, tender pork shank with garlic mashed potatoes, spicy seafood linguine, baked Italian bread dipped in olive oil. Josiah, our waiter was awesome. The restaurant was busy, but organized.

Went for a date night, service was incredible, food was amazing, my date got the steak filet, which he loved, said it was very tender, and it was so good he didn't even have time to savor it from eating it so quickly! I got the special of the night which was a herb crusted red snapper with Brussels sprouts. Excellent! Highly recommend. Cooked perfectly! The sweet pea pancetta risotto is incredibly rich and full.of flavor, cooked well. Didn't come across one hard piece of rice. Bread is always good. Would definitely recommend this place for a date night or special occasion. Food and service is never a disappointment. Plan on spending a good amount but well worth it in my opinion!

We made reservations to stop in here on our Galena trip, and the place never disappoints. By 4:30, their floors were already packed with people having conversations and, undoubtedly, a wonderful time. Drinks are always made to our liking, and the wine selection should suit anyone looking for something delicious to pair with their food or dessert. We have more food than is listed here, like their spaghetti and meatballs, and that Caprese salad on the menu in the appetizers section can be eaten as a meal. The tomatoes were so huge this time, and it was surprising when our server put the plate down in front of us. The fried green tomatoes are always a treat. Rarely do we ever come here and not get those. I love the multiple floors and the coziness of the restaurant itself. They do a great job decorating and keeping a great appearance, and they appreciate the establishment's cleanliness. The staff is always a pleasure interacting with and is well-versed in all menu selections. This place is popular, so I would definitely suggest making reservations if you're going to be in the area - you don't want to miss what they've got to offer!

Server was clueless and clearly unprepared. Filet mignon was gristley and covered in bitter tasting grill char. For the amount of money spent it was simply not worth it and probably wouldn't be back or able to recommend

Drop from four to one star based on a terrible meal and poor service. Instead of a loaf of bread, I got one little bread stick. I asked for more but did not get more until my meal was done. Out of Bleu cheese for my salad. The tortellini with zucchini and spinach came to me and then I was told they had no zucchini to put in it. The chicken added to it for four dollars was invisible. Bad meal and bad service at a table up many stairs for a guy who has a disability card.

Mussels were not fresh and the kitchen tried to cover the stale mussels with tons of lemons. Every other mussel didn't have anything in it. Extremely disappointed with this appetizer. The main entrees were just okay.

I had the shrimp and burrata ravioli. Flavors were a perfect blend, including a drizzle of balsamic on top. The ravioli was pillowy and the red pepper pesto sauce was creamy and flavorful without being too heavy. A healthy portion of shrimp was done just right. I ate the whole entree rather than saving room for dessert - and it was worth it! My wife Lisa had the mile high meat loaf with cornbread base and mashed potatoes on top with fried onions and a bourbon glaze in the beef and pork meatloaf. It was the ultimate comfort food and was a very healthy portion. All of her elements worked perfectly together. The salad and bread that came with our meals were excellent too. Come with a big appetite - you won't be disappointed. Best meal we've had in 3 trips to the area.

Had reservations for my birthday dinner. We were sat right away upon arrival and had a table next to the window with a great view of Main Street. Food was delicious and the ambiance was great! Portion sizes were a little smaller than expected but it was still satisfying. Definitely recommend.

This is our go-to restaurant for important occasions. This time we were there to celebrate my parents 61st wedding anniversary. As always, they were treated kindly and with respect. The food is top notch. Not a single disappointing item on the menu. My parent are both 91 years old so I have to drop them off and then pick them back up at the door. They are always seated promptly upon arrival and this time, when it it was time to leave, the lovely woman who runs everything walked them out to the car. Exceptional! Thank you, Fried Green Tomatoes for always treating my parents like royalty.

We had high expectations for this restaurant after numerous recommendations. Our server was so nice, very attentive. In fact, the entire team was on top of it from when we walked in the door until we left. Unfortunately, the food was just terrible. It was more akin to the Olive Garden than a nice authentic Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was equally off- loud - bright. It just wasn't our spot.
