There's is NO seating here, so be prepared to take all your deliciousness home with you. The baked foods are AMAZING! We live about 3 hours away and have decided we'll be back again for the sweet treats here. I was so excited to find authentic Chipas here! All the empanadas were fabulous, as we're the Apple Danish and Raspberry Danish. We came back everyday of our stay in Galena and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping in here, because you won't be disappointed. We spent A LOT of many on pastries to take home, but for a non-glutonness order, the prices are great.
A bakery that's small but packed with big flavors. It's best to visit early, G.B. is a popular spot especially for locals. Unique eats like Breakfast Empanadas takes this bakery over the top. This is like a candy store for adults, there is something for everyone. I would pick half a dozen different items and go with it. Items were freshly made and not too overly sweet. I tried the Apple Pie Danish and it was perfect, tasty, flakey and just the right amount of sweetness. Tag that along with a coffee and you'll be walking on clouds. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Went here a few weeks ago when visiting Gelena and I’m still thinking about the empanadas!! So good! Wish we got there earlier before they ran out of the Pain Au Chocolates.

Came in here on a whim, so glad we did! Delicious empanadas and fast service! Iced coffee was incredible!
I was visiting Galena and love a good coffee shop & bakery. I’m SO glad I stopped into Galena Bakehouse! I ended up going there twice! The empanadas were perfectly flaky and delicious. I tried an apple pie danish fresh - AMAZING. I also got a raspberry cream cheese croissant danish to have the next day and it was still delicious the next day out of the fridge! Cold brew was good and not bitter at all. The cinnamon toast crunch latte was not overly sweet and tasted great with oat milk. On my first visit, one of the owners was doing the coffee bar so I got to chat with him for a few minutes while I waited for my coffee and he was so sweet. I can’t wait to come back to Galena and stop here every day ☺️

This small coffee shop always has the best coffee in town, beat empanadas and great customer service. We always look forward to visiting this place when we’re in Galena .
Absolute must stop, get there early before all the best seller sell out! We tried the egg/sausage/cheese empanada, raspberry/cheese danish, ice Carmel macchiato, and grabbed some macaroons to go! Everything was delicious and the service was great!
When I say I had an out of world experience at Galena Bakehouse, I MEAN it was out of this world. The service was fast and so helpful. The friendly faces that greet you, including the owner Alex, made you feel so comfortable the moment you walk in the door. And the coffee!!!! It has to be some of the THE BEST coffee I've ever had. Their pastries exceeded my expectations, especially the chocolate croissants! So flaky and full of flavor. An excellent staple in Galena and also a happy 4 year anniversary to them!
