I spent a couple days in Galena in early August and made a stop at the winery. It was a chilly, cloudy day which I was bummed about at first but it ended up being perfect to just hang out inside! The guy who served me was CJ (I believe!), he’s a twin and I’ve got twins so we joked, along with his mom, about how one day it gets easier. Haha! I did a tasting and then got some snacks, a Bloody Mary and I brought my book and ended up spending a couple hours there.
Very charming vineyard in the countryside. Great tasting room and frozen wine slushies. There was plenty of outdoor seating and live music to enjoy while taking in the scenic views.
My wife and I both had a great experience here. The wine was VERY good, and the price was just as good. The service here is excellent. The woman who served us at the bar was kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The outdoor seating options were numerous, and the inside was clean and inviting. We sat underneath a large tree a d had the most relaxing time.
