Our 4 person group was able to be sat in about 10 minutes on a busy fall day so felt like a win right off the bat. Service was good through the duration of our meal and the food was good as well. I would definitely return here!

It took a while to get seated on a Saturday Morning. Other than the long wait, the food was pretty good. My Croissant sandwich was delicious and the hashbrowns too. Everything was flavorful and filling. The service was great too. Free refills on certain drinks is also a nice touch. Very reasonably priced food too!

My husband and I had breakfast here on Sunday at noon. Food was good. Just had eggs, hash browns and toast. The thing that made not want to come back was the guy clearing the tables. I watched him clear the dirty dishes from the tables, then reorganize the condiments on the tables and then re-set the table. All without washing his hands after clearing the dirty dishes. I work in a kitchen and this is one the sanitary measures that should NEVER happen!!

Came to Victory on 9/24/23 and had great food and phenomenal service. Mary is fantastic and fun to talk to. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits Galena. My mom sisters and I had a ladies weekend start off with a lunch on a disappointing note with two waitresses (one was rude, and seemed to be put out having to help a busy section and the other was a young lady with no respect for elders and remarked with snide comments, then MARY took over.. what can I say that would be the best compliment, she was in a nutshell..THE SWEETEST, MOST ENDEARING, ATTENTIVE, JOY TO HAVE MET. Definitely an asset to this place! We didn't get to have breakfast there like we wanted the next morning, however, if you are in Galena and see Victory cafe on Main Street and want to have a breakfast or lunch.. ask to sit at Mary's section...you won't be disappointed!!! THANKS MARY FOR TAKING CARE OF US AND MAKING MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF THE PEOPLE OF GALENA AND THE TOWN GREAT

we had stopped in once prior before the renovations and were not impressed. Food was mediocre. we decided to give it another shot after the renovations . I joined my husband and son 10 minutes after they arrived. they had ordered food before I got there. I sat there for 20 min with out a single acknowledgement from the waiteres Terri P. not once did she greet me, offer a drink NOTHING I ended up getting fast food on the way outta town instead we won't be back. Low quality food and terrible service or lack there of

The Victory Cafe is incredible! We have been enjoying all their wonderful food for years! The staff is fabulous! The atmosphere is so awesome! We love it!!!

The terrible service here was not due to lack of staff...more lack of attention to customers. No offer of coffee refill after 1 cup, or asking if food was ok, or even a smile from waitress are reasons I would not recommend this place. The food was just okay, reasonably priced.
