Wonderful, cozy Italian atmosphere with great music and ambiance. The food was authentic and delicious. Our server, Cindy, was delightful & very attentive! We will definitely dine again on our next trip to Galena!
Service was EXCELLENT. Ty was our waiter, what a nice, respectable, young man who was able to handle our table of women along with 7 other tables. Very attentive and kind, (his parents raised him right!). The food and drink were wonderful!
Was very cute, lots of stairs to climb to get to the seating and the entrance is difficult to find. Overall it was very cute and the food was delicious, the salad could have used less dressing.
This is our favorite place to eat when ever we are in Galena! The food is outstanding and you get a lot for your money! I always get the veal parm!
We enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent, however when it came to paying the bill they do not do seperate checks. I would understand if it was a large group, but this was 5 ladies. It seemed to be a big deal which made it very uncomfortable.
Excellent food waiter suggested something I never had before the Chicken Compomare and it was delicious. Love the garlic bread and salad too.
Just average Italian food. Service was good. I remember this restaurant being better in the past.
This place was absolutely terrible. The food was cold, bland, and honestly disgusting, it tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The service was a complete mess, the staff didn’t care at all and were super rude. On top of that, the restaurant was dirty and felt unhygienic. I’m shocked this place is even open. Never coming back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!
Made reservations. Informed them we were celebrating my MILs 91st birthday. They wanted to put us downstairs which she can’t do. The guy was rude, Sat us near the door and where they filled sodas and left dirty dishes. It was noisy and felt like we were eating on a runway. Don’t waste your time! There was another table in a quieter part of the dining room that we asked to move too. He rudely said no that tables not for you! They are pricey, the foods not that good and you expect to be treated nicely. Never again. It’s Cucina Bella for us from this day forward.
Food was below average. Chicken parm had a bad flavor. I'm suspecting it was burnt grease. The waiter was rushing around so much beyond the point of rude and annoying. Nothing about the situation seemed to be in line with the rush (7pm, moderate crowd on a Sunday night). He was doing the same to the other tables. Considering the food / service, it was way over priced.

This is an amazing place to eat garlic bread and salad. The pasta is also really delicious!

The restaurant is unique and I love the decor. Our waitress was very attentive. Good salad and garlic bread that comes complimentary with your dinner. I did NOT like the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken! The sauce was very runny and the chicken was chewy and flavorless. The cheesecake was very average. I would return to try it again and order a different entree next time.
We wanted to like this place, given the previous reviews. Atmosphere is quaint, not too loud and the service was good. But the food was very disappointing. Not at all what we enjoy back home when it comes to chicken Alfredo and chicken Marsala. Calamari was frozen and flash fried with heavy breading and zero flavor. The best course was the house salad and garlic bread. Too pricey for mediocre quality.
My husband, friends, and I recently went together and the experience was okay. To name the positive aspects of it, the building and ambiance are so beautiful and unique. We really enjoyed the style and architecture of the place, including the various seating areas inside and outside. Service was slower at times but we were understanding. Our waitress was kind. I ordered the Dee Dee’s Tortellini Carbonara, which had great flavor and was tasty. I would recommend. I also ordered a limoncello cocktail but they were able to change it into a mocktail for me. Typically at other restaurants, they can change and lower the price due to the drink losing the alcohol, but I was told by our waitress that they couldn’t make that change. The drink was delicious, but I left wondering why I spent $15 for a mocktail. Overall, this place has some good aspects, but wasn’t fully a positive experience. I may try it again sometime but I wouldn’t be in a rush to come back.
