Based on the reviews, Bread and Vine is a total gem and a must-try when in Galena. It is a cute French cafe with fast and incredibly nice service. The food is amazing, with excellent taste and presentation. Everything looks fresh and delicious with great combinations of flavors. Expect it to be crowded, as it is hard to pull out a chair without bumping a neighboring table. Specific meals like the croquettes, a french dip, a croque monsieur, and the flatbread pizza with prosciutto and buratta are all recommended. The flatbread pizza is described as legitimately one of the best pizzas, with super clean ingredients and an incredible bite and crunch to the crust. The staff makes accommodations and is incredibly kind. However, note that this restaurant serves Foie-gras, which some consider a highly unethical and cruel practice.
