Fantastic spot in Galena. The macaron photo dipped in chocolate sauce was what brought me there - turns out they don't actually sell that (odd to put it in the photos) so the staff did it for me as a surprise when I was bummed to find out they didn't actually serve it. It was mind blowing- their chocolate sauce and the macaron. Everything we had was fantastic. Super great place for lunch

This place was amazing! I love how my whole family can choose something that they want and it didn't break the bank. The place is very bright and inviting. That being said, who cares if the food is not good. That was not the case here. I had the French hot dog... Dang it was good. My children had the croque monsieur and the lobster bisque.... Absolutely delicious. My husband had the tacos and loved them. The shell was made out of rice and was so soft but held together. Then came the desserts... Fantastic creme brulee and tiramisu. I wish we had found this place sooner so we could go back before we leave... Always next time I guess.

We’ve visited a couple of places on the strip in Galena and this is the best place yet. I got the chicken sub with Russian dressing and wifey got the steak sub with pesto. Both were amazing. Plus there’s a dude stacking subs out in the front window and it looks amazing. Best subs I’ve ever had and I’ll choose this place over the half hearted Galena diners out here.

This is a favorite spot for us!! We went twice this last visit. It's French bistro inspired, but menu isn't all French. Just solid food prep and flavors. The cocktails are surprisingly good for a cafe. Yeh baked goods of course are too-notch. Great service too. The seating is very tight so be prepared to Be besties with other diners :)

Great service. Had the best tea in Galena during our stay. Busy place that serves sweets , sandwiches coffee's and alcohol.

The place was empty, and we were a group of 6, and we had to put together 3 small round tables, which was okay except the space felt crowded since they did not remove the extra chairs. Some of their food is pre-made and frozen, so you can't request made to order.

Just had a most delicious soup and sandwich in the cutes little restaurant. Been here many times but today we got the fresh Lobster sandwich and Lobster Bisque. Finishing up with some great desserts. If you're in Galena it's a must stop! ? always so welcoming and friendly staff.

We were having a hard time finding a restaurant that was open for lunch and stumbled into Bread and Vine. What a happy circumstance! The food was absolutely amazing and the service was wonderful. I had the grilled veggie sandwich (best I have ever had) and my daughter had the melt in your mouth truffle fries. 10/10 for service and food. Only thing is the seating is very limited and close together.

This is our family first time here , we had terrible experience here ,we told the old lady that we gonna have some sanwish for here and some little cake to go also , she said you want eat here for the sandwich ? I said yes , but those cakes gonna take out , both of that , she said alright! After pay the money, she told the girl on the back toste the sandwich for us , than the girl gave the plate to us though the glass-frame cabinet directly, plate kinda hot !I thought they will give the cakes for to go later maybe. So we just sat down, We was wondering why other table has Waiter take care them but we don’t, so we ask the women can we have some water , than she told us you can’t sit here if you order In front !We were shocked than we said sorry andexplained that we first time here and nobody told us the rules .Since we already sat down and they have tables available for other customers, so we order some drink and fries to sit here with our sandwiches. After finished we ask the cakes that we paid before , the cashier said no , you didn’t have that , the same cashier .We must be go to the worry day I think , my husband have to find the receipt and showed it to her , finally she remembered , and told the girl said just packaging for them .The old lady which is cashier ,she didn’t say sorry or anything,I wish she could us the rules that we can sit here first, someone will service for you here later or you can order other side ,here for package to take out only , something like that , we feel so embarrassed while so many customers here .Those cakes and drinks are so fresh and taste amazing though.

Visited town for 2 days and ate here more than any of the other places. Amazing sandwiches and all the desserts are worth trying. I reccomend the cuban, or breakfast sandwich. The eclairs as well.

We stopped in the first time for dessert and after dinner drinks. My wife had the Velvet Noir Chocolate Mousse, and I had an Apple Tart. Exquisite!A few nights later, we shared one of their sandwich specials. It was a seafood special with shrimp and crab. Wonderful. My wife finished her dinner with another great dessert( Flourless Chocolate Cake) while I had Grand Marnier.Bread and Vine prides itself on its dinner, dessert menu, and a matching wine bar. The wine menu is very good, except it lacks any desert wines to match its desserts and pastries. This is a must stop while in Galena.

Dropped by while in town as a late afternoon was snack and it was very tasty! Had their apple strudel pie looking bite and it hit the spot! We also had a couple of macarons which were equally delicious! We accompanied these treats with some tea and an espresso. The space is bright and very happy. It creates a new space that is very "Galena", which is great! We were lucky to come during the off season, so it wasn't as busy as some of the reviews on here say it is, which was great for us since there was always seaeting! If you want a quick bite or treat, stop by!
