“Great spot. The best food we had in Galena. Great cocktails too. We had the croque monsier and it was really done. The specials looked great. Its a small place so you can see all the food. We tried 4-5 restaurants in Galena, including several that were top rated and were very disappointed. This was the only place that did not disappoint.“
“This place was amazing! I love how my whole family can choose something that they want and it didn't break the bank. The place is very bright and inviting. That being said, who cares if the food is not good. That was not the case here. I had the French hot dog... Dang it was good. My children had the croque monsieur and the lobster bisque.... Absolutely delicious. My husband had the tacos and loved them. The shell was made out of rice and was so soft but held together. Then came the desserts... Fantastic creme brulee and tiramisu. I wish we had found this place sooner so we could go back before we leave... Always next time I guess.“
“Such a unique place in Galena! Upon walking in it looks like just an ice cream parlor with lots of colorful piñatas hanging from the ceiling. I saw several people with churros in their ice cream. But if you ask for a menu, you get an extensive menu of Mexican cuisine for lunch & dinner. We had empanadas (chicken or cheese only) tacos, tortas and they had so much more. And while you wait for your authentic Mexican food, you get fresh warm chips & salsa. And a wide drink menu including typical drinks from Mexico (fresh homemade water! ?). Everything was delicious!! the two people working that day (possibly owners) were kind and polite. We will be back to try the ice cream!“
“such a delightful cup of joy! we enjoyed our time here and spend the weekend at our favorite coffee spot! one cup of java a day keeps the blues away and we recommend this location for everyone in the Galena area that entices a steaming brew of beauty!!!“
“The raspberry danish/croissant was superb. No wrong choices here, everything looks and tastes great. Also got some cookies, empanadas(not pictured but inhaled), and a scone. Everything was well priced. Definitely a worth a stop and look forward to returning when in Galena.“
