“While my wife & I were shopping in Downtown Galena we decided to take a little break. Instead of coffee our normal break confection we decided to try Champagne on Main, (our 1st visit). Well it won't be our last. It was a Saturday early afternoon and we were warmly greeted by Laura the owner. She gave us a great table up front by the Bar & Sunny Front Window. The day was cold 32 degrees outside but inside Champagne on Main it was delightful. Laura was so excited about her place and gave us a bit of history on her old building. Drinks were perfect & prices not bad. We relaxed, (chilled) there for about an hour...then off for more shopping. Thank - You Galena for the great day.....and you to Laura!PS - Laura showed us her new El Fresco outside seating area out the back door...nice quiet garden like spot with a tall wood fence that seats about 30 people. Going back for sure this upcoming Summer. Well Done Laura & staff!“
