Go for the fabulous lunch buffet and stay for the friendly atmosphere! This restaurant is a true gem, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. We love to go to the lunch buffet, but there is a regular menu available, too. Try soups, meats, noodles, kimchi, and more!I also love the dessert and, surprisingly, fried chicken on the buffet!Parking: There is free street parking available along Main Street and in a number of lots around town.Wheelchair accessibility: Single-level restaurant right off the sidewalk. Single door entryway and open floorplan for maneuvering. Most tables are chair-height.

I love Korean food so I scouted this restaurant out to try! We had lunch buffet and it was perfect! Lots of things to try and go back for more. Also tried Bulgogi fries, they hit the spot, Ramen was good too!Definitely supported as a Veteran / Woman owned business-veteran too so it brought me back toAir Force days - trying different dishes brought to the BBQ or get together! Will come back!

Koreana serves up the from-scratch, ultra flavorful cooking you'd expect to find in Los Angeles' Koreatown, not in Downtown Galesburg. I ordered the Dol Sot Bibimbap with Beef Bulgogi for lunch. It was divine. The hot stone bowl it was served in gave the rice a good crispy crust and kept every bite perfectly warm- it never got cold! The gochujang, kimchi, and cucumbers were also very flavorful and gave the dish the kick I was hoping for! I left satiated, not overly full, and was productive for the rest of the work day.

An oasis of genuine Korean dishes. The marinated bulgogi, spicy pork, dolsot (stone bowl) bibimbap, and kimchi jjigae are really great. For those that love Korean street food the fried chicken, mandu, and beef or chicken cheese ramen are spot on. Immediate street parking is available, clean place, and the staff and owner are fantastic.Vegetarian options: Clearly marked vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options.

I had the garlic chives pancake and the tofu curry, both of which were delicious. With the banchan we got the Korean coleslaw, kimchi, cucumber kimchi, some broccoli, and I can't remember what the other two options were. I tried all but the fish one and, with the exception of the broccoli (I tried it, but I'm not a fan of broccoli), it was all great. I will definitely return to try more dishes.Vegetarian options: I've only tried the tofu curry so far, but, if that's anything to go by, they have goood vegetarian options. I will be returning to see how the other options rate.

Highly recommend. I eat Korean food often in NY, NJ, LA, Chicago, and at home, and Koreana did not disappoint. I had the tteokbokki (chewy rice cake with spicy sauce), which was very good. Also had dol sot bibimbap (rice bowl in hot pot), which was also very good.If you're looking for a Korean food fix in the area, you won't be disappointed at Koreana. If you're looking to try Korean for the first time (which you should), you should be able find something you like here.

The food, and service were excellent! The atmosphere is your typical restaurant found around the main street area. The only reason I gave four stars overall is that I would have liked to try something other than bulgogi, which seems to be just about the only thing on the menu aside from ribs and seafood. I love bulgogi, I loved my food, I just wanted to try something else!
