Altiro Latin Fusion- On Third

Altiro is such a little gem! 💕 The enmolada was absolutely delicious. rich, comforting, and full of flavor. We also shared the guacamole and esquites, which were perfect starters. Everything tasted so fresh and thoughtfully made.

Huge shoutout to our server Alan for being so kind and attentive, he really made the experience extra special. Cozy vibes, amazing food, and great service. Can’t wait to come back!

The drinks were an excellent start. Beet/apple/ricotta salad was sweet, but very good. By far the star of the show was the Wagu truffle burger was incredible. Perfectly MR, with a toasted bun. No lettuce, onion, or tomato (no frills) cleared the deck for an undressed, stand alone on its own merits-delicious char broiled burger. Might be back within a week just for that burger. Great service- friendly and gracious owners

Me and a friend made a reservation for brunch on 10/21/25 @ 11:00am. We got there and restaurant was still closed. Around 11:10am we see a guy walking down the street and it turned out to be a worker. Approached him to let him know we had a reservation and his response “let me see if the cooks are here”. We had to wait outside for an answer. Overall would not even bother to give them a second try due to a bad first impression & the worker seemed very uninterested. Did not even bother to apologize.

VERY limited menu so you don't have many options for your entree !! The food flavors were nice but drinks were small in size !

Ordered a margarita, tuna app, barbacoa entree. Asked for second margarita that never arrived. Asked again and got it but got billed for three. Double checked receipt after leaving as it seemed high. Cannot recommend ever after having a reservation at the Plainfield location 6 weeks ago and showed up 70 minutes before posted closing only to be told they're closed. Never doing this again.

This was our first time since the transition from Altiro to Enigma. LOVED IT! The food and atmosphere is lovely. The food is so original and delicious. Only negative was that we were the only ones there. I hope everyone gives this place a try it's worth your time and money!

I loved Enigma. I started with the Tetela, a corn masa pocket that looked so beautiful on the plate. The masa pocket had a pleasing toothsomeness that helped it stay distinct from the other elements, which also were distinct, gorgeous and delicious. I had the saffron fumet as my main. It included a perfectly cooked salmon filet with a crackling crisp skin. The vegetables were fresh and delicious; some of them were lightly pickled and added a nice piquancy to the dish. The saffron reduction pulled everything together. The rice pudding was nicely portioned and a wonderful finisher. I had two cocktails and a mocktail, all tasty.

This is a little hidden gem. I wish we lived in this neighborhood because we would come here all the time. Drinks were so good, food was outstanding and the prices so affordable. My husband and I both love the atmosphere and we will definitely be back!

Came to try the brunch. Everything was great. Will definitely be back. Also love the new location. We’ve been several time for dinner. Don’t sleep on this place!!
