The setting was lovely. We ate outside. There was only one server when we arrived and she was working incredibly hard. We appreciated her efforts. Eventually others arrived to help. My steak was not cooked as I requested but I wasn't about to send it back because I felt like it might've taken awhile to get it. By the end of the meal everything was lovely but there were some bumps in the road. For us, on our 35th anniversary, it was not the special dinner we had hoped...
This was a birthday dinner for my wife. Our two daughters and their husbands also attended. We ate in the gazebo which was a wonderful experience. There was a delay in being seated as a wedding ran longer than expected. So they comped a round of drinks and waived the fee for the gazebo. Food and service were outstanding. We had a great time!
I can't think of anywhere that we would have enjoyed our 50th anniversary better than we did at Atwater. Every aspect of our time there was exemplary. The service was first class.
