Absolutely love this place. I’ve been a handful of times over the past few years and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it every time. We went for New Year’s Day on a whim and found two bar seats on the end that were open. The seating here is tight so unless you have a reservation, chances are you aren’t getting in. I'm a regular at Barrel and Rye in Geneva because of its selection of unique entree ingredients. I brought guests today for lunch, and they also loved it. My one guest said the Jimbalaya was the best he has ever had! I enjoy the pistachio + beet salad, and usually have it with salmon, which is cooked perfectly. I've also had the poke bowl-the tuna is excellent paired with the ginger glaze + charred pineapple. The brie burger is also good-the slightly acidic brie balances...
The food is ALWAYS great here. We have tried many different things and have not been disappointed. The staff has been good each time and we have had very good service. We love the grilled cheese birria, and the amazing dipping sauce. The wings are awesome also, with the crumble blue cheese dressing.
