California Pizza Kitchen at Geneva Commons

Had lunch at California Pizza today. Food was absolutely delicious, the service was wow, young lady was super sweet and had great communication skills, smiles and suggestions. The menu was impressive. Pizza was out of the world. I had wild mushroom pizza with hand toasted crust. Wow.
Also, we were rewarded with a free starter, and we had the most delicious fresh guacamole and chips. We will definitely return to this place soon.

It was very frustrating. Thet got both orders wrong. There were too many servers idle back in the kitchen playing games, too many hosts too busy fraternizing, and no one serving. It was like the retaurant was taken over by the young employees, and the customers were intruding in their fun. What a disappointment, because I usually like the food. Im not returning.

Went on mother's day didnt have to wait. Service was good and so was food.

Our waitress was so pleasant. Loved the shrimp scamp zucchini with a touch of fettuccine.

Good food and really good service. Mauricio was a very good server. Super attentive and polite.

I got the shrimp fettuccine and it was amazing — creamy, flavorful, and packed with juicy shrimp and mushrooms. Total comfort food.

Service was great too — everyone was super friendly and we didn’t have to wait long at all, even though it was pretty busy.
The whole vibe was chill and welcoming, perfect for a laid-back family meal.

We even treated ourselves to dessert — and yep, totally worth it. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We were there lunch time Dec23rd, the food was very fresh and delicious. Service was awesome, staff with smiles and all seemed generally happy, and very thankful. Highly recommend this place. We always have a good experience here.

I have been a regular custoner to Geneva and other locations. I love the food BUT the store manager (Dina) need to learn some customer service and how to talk to people. She was rude and inpatient while enquiring about food. Hope she reads it and try to be a better person.

We had a great waitress, love the inside of the restaurant food was good but different.. $19 for a personal pan pizza is a little expensive and hors d'oeuvres the same $18 for chips and spinach dip.. but again you're in the suburbs of Chicago area some things are more expensive than where we live..

Always enjoy visiting this location. I like to go inbetween lunch and dinner since it's usually less crowded. Trued the carne asada pizza for the first time. The steak was awesome. But I would ditch the pesto and make it have an avocado ranch or salsa based sauce to make it more like the tacos. Or maybe queso

Parking: It's in a mall and I usually park to the west and cross the street. More parking there. There is a smaller lot to the south but thst is usually always full.

If the name sounds good to you, than I think you will like it very much. If the name scares you because you want ribs not salad... well, your right again.

Parking: Plenty

Kid-friendliness: Not a kid place, but kids seem to be gladly accepted. They will just be bored while your are discussing nutrition stuff.
