i hate leaving bad reviews, and to be honest i never have. but i have to rate this bakery a 1/5. honestly wish it could be a 0/5. i ordered two custom cakes for my sister’s bridal event. I spent $94 and was told they could do what i had asked for. i confirmed that white frosting would be used, as it if for a bridal event. the inspiration that i had emailed them, they then viewed, AND THEY CONFIRMED they could do it for me. what i received just absolutely speaks for itself. it is a yellow messy cake that looks like it took 1 minute to write the wording and piping on. It was done so rushed and sloppily even though i ordered 5 days in advance. They should have told me they could not do what i had asked. instead of rush me on the phone during the ordering process. not even did the cake look so incredibly bad, but it tasted very dry and old. the frosting tasted mostly of butter. $94 was just absolutely mind boggling to ask. i had also called and asked for a manager was was told that the person on the phone was the manager, when it was not. when i actually got ahold of the manager he was so not understanding and offered a whopping 10% back. being so upset he said 20% was all he could do… i still have not received the refund as i talked to him 5 days ago. what a joke. $9 and .4 cents back for this. lets just have the photos speak for themselves. DO NOT ORDER CUSTOM CAKES HERE. just a fore warning you will be lied to and given a sloppy rushed job. :(

I ordered a cake here for my child’s birthday. I sent an image of what I felt like was a simple cake design to accomplish. When I saw the cake I was in complete shock and disappointed at how little effort was put into making my cake. It was completely sloppy work. All the same size piping for what was supposed to be flowers was used and it did not look like a headband. Actual flowers could have been piped. The face was a complete mess. And the bell on the collar could have even been a different color. I called multiple times and emailed but I felt like I was being ignored. When I did speak with the baker he was yelling and arguing with me. I felt like I paid 100+ dollars for a $30 cake that I could have got at a grocery store. And everyone said the cake tasted like a pumpkin cake but I ordered a carrot cake. It also, looked like a bunny not a cat. I was told I was going to be given 10% back which is ridiculous especially for not taking any blame and making the costumer feel like they are so wrong for wanting something they paid for. The first picture was what I wanted.

Big shout out to Paul with the fantastic job he did with the 2 cakes for March 16! They were absolutely beautiful and just what I had in mind. Plus they were delicious... Especially the "strawberry infused!"

I got the raspberry chocolate individual cake, which has been my favourite for many years and a chocolate croissant. It was made to order. Unfortunately the center raspberry filling and surrounding mousse was rock solid. I couldn’t get my fork through it and after it thawed a little still had an icy taste to it. Not sure what went wrong but in the past it has been my favourite dessert. The chocolate croissant has great flavour and first bite. Workers are helpful and kind and I saw the chef come out to personally answer some questions about the desserts.

Well I hate to even do this because it has been a tradition to order from here every Christmas, we order our birthday cakes from here and it's been one of my favorites for a cheat treat since the first time I had their almond croissant. This year I placed my order on 12/14 to pick up 12/22. When I went to pick up the order I was told there was no record of my order, other than the credit card charge that was processed on 12/15. After the owner explains this to me, he says "well what do you want me to do for you?" My response was, "What can you do for me? Do you have any pies?" I receive a blank stare and half laughing "nope". After that, I simply responded "I guess just my refund please". He says nothing, turns around and walks to the back room and sends out another employee who also says nothing else to me except asking for the credit card that was used for the charge and a "here's a receipt showing the refund". I understand mistakes happen, especially during the busy holiday season. But how you handle mistakes says a lot more about you and your business. I wasn't even offered the croissants that were on my order and really didn't think I should have had to ask for them. Sadly I won't be doing business here again.

The best French brioche I have ever had. You can tell the pastry chef gets joy in crafting quality pastries.
