Delicious food, I have tried the enchiladas verdes y mole, and last time, fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimp. More than enough for 2. Tamarindo margarita is my favorite, pineapple and also mango are great.

Fantastic Food, Small Mom & Pop Business, which I prefer to dine in. You won't be disappointed!!

Great food, great service and a cozy/fun atmosphere! Chips and salsa were delicious! And so far I’ve been here twice and both times were great! Shrimp tacos, the spruced up corn side is kind of like street elite corn and the mole enchiladas are so good! Will be coming back. My husband said this might be his favorite Mexican restaurant in the area

Love this place; it gives a great Mexico City vibe, in my opinion. The service is nothing short of amazing (I’ve been here 3 times). I’ve been here when it’s been super busy with speedy service as per usual, friendly staff, and a great place for conversation. It is located in a beautiful location as well. Definitely recommend giving it a shot (they also serve virgin drinks).

With a town full of restaurants- several of which are Mexican, this place leaves a lot to be desired.

Everything we had was just average. From the jalapeño margaritas, to the taco sampler…a simple 3*. On a Saturday night, the inside was empty - that may have been my first sign. We ended up on the rooftop, which does offer some nice views. The most disappointing was for 2 people - 3 Ritas, 2 taco plates and chips/salsa…$90 without tip.

Net net - pass. Too many other options within walking distance and a better price point. Average food isn’t worth the price.

Amazing Tacos, guacamole, esquites and margaritas (1/2 price when we were there). Service was outstanding. Very polite and attentive. Marlene was so awesome!

Food was outstanding but the service was less then terrible . We weighted over 45 mins for a to go dinner ( which was ordered during our dinner. The drinks took 30 mins to come to the table. We ordered a 2nd drink that we had to refuse since we were done with dinner and paid the bill. It took a min to convince my wife to give it a 2nd chance and now I’m eating crow. Lesson learned. Eat somewhere else unless you want to wait longer than expected for your food and or drinks. I recommend eating at Taczatz Tacos for incredible service and food.

Wow, get the taco sampler. Every single one was authentic with a twist. Mouth full of FLAVOR! Cant wait to being my family here.
My fav taco (though hard to just pick one) was the pork belly. The orchata was authentic and el agua de jamaica SCRUM!

Hopefully, you consider adding more planters to add the the beautiful atmosphere you have already created. God bless

I’m very disappointed after our visit to El Molcajete today. We had a reservation for 9 people including 2 high chairs. I called and let them know that we were running late and confirmed the number of high chairs. They said this was no problem. They asked for my phone number and said they would see us soon. We arrived 8 minutes late and they had decided to give away the table and the high chairs. The host (ironically) rudely said to me, “I’m not trying to be rude, but you were late”. Yes, I understand that, we were 8 minutes late after calling to let you know we were going to be late. And this family was already sitting comfortably with their kids set up in high chairs, which makes it seem as though they must have given away the table at our exact reservation time. I’m disappointed that we ended up having to find a new place to eat on a Saturday night, but I’m more disappointed that we lost a favorite place that we have enjoyed bringing family and friends to.

My family and I went to this mexican resturant and we checked in and put our name on the list around 7:20. Then they said it would be around 25 min. I looked around and noticed 4 empty seats with no one in them. We went outside and sat down on the chairs below the restaurant. 1 hour later we were thought "why have we not gotten a text message that our table was ready?" So I thought they probably forgot about us. So we went up to find out how much longer we had to wait. When we were up there, he clearly forgot about us because we could tell by his facial expressions. When we got seated, our waitress did not come for around 15 min and there were about 10 other tables outside (we were outside). She took our orders and at this point, everyone around us was done eating. We got our food and it was really good! But it still took a lot of time to get our check. Another thing that was wrong was, my sister and I orderd avocado, specifically not guacamole. Once the food was ready, It came out and I saw guacamole. Once she gave us the check, she charged us for the avacado that we never got and never appoligized for the forgetful ness or the extra charge. The waitress did not even say, have a nice night or anything.

The food was sooo good. Beats a lot of mexican places i’ve been to in the suburbs & the city. The seating is beautiful, indoor and outdoor.
