Wonderful meal last night. The place is stunning. The service was very good. And the filet was life changing. Can’t wait to return.

FoxFire is a really nice upscale restaurant. They have excellent service, everything is set up nicely with clean silverware and clean plates. They take pride in their cocktails and cooking. The prime rib steak egg rolls are an excellent choice 😋. Also, the Butcher Bites with seared steak pieces cowboy butter on top of creamy Polenta is satisfying.

This is such a great a place to wine and dine or hangout at the bar and enjoy a few cocktails or an Old Fashion with Piggyback bourbon. This place is well worth your time and money. They're very friendly people with outstanding service.

See you guys soon!

Came here for date night. Got 2 steaks and we each got 2 drinks. The steak does come with a side. Our steaks were good but not outstanding. The service was slow despite there being very few people in the restaurant. Our waiter only came to take our order and once the food was delivered. He never table touched again despite empty drink glasses. We even had to get up to find him to ask for our check. The busser was great with water refills at least. Because there were so few people in the restaurant even though we came at 7, the atmosphere was kinda non existent. I felt like more of an inconvenience for being there then anything. Lots of noise from dishes and sidework being done. The lights over the tables are glaringly bright compared to the dim lights in the rest of the restaurant. For the $200 we paid, I was underwelmed & don't plan to come back. Disappointing because I really wanted to like it.

1st time diners. I had the 12 oz prime rib with mushrooms, capers n horseradish. AMAZING.
my wife had stuffed pepper.
Kurt the owner stopped by our table to thank us for coming down, very classy. nice guy!
we like the open kitchen concept.
cocktails were good.

Second visit 9/1/18: had prime rib, sword special, too many gr8 sides and dessert. Kevin is an awesome server! Curt made his rounds. Will keep coming back. Left fat, dumb & happy.
Johnny Cash is my idol! so hearing Curt sing is on my list now!

Many visits later include crab stuffed flounder, lobster mac 'n cheese...
Last night 10/19 we had supper, jazz singer was awesome. I had the large prime rib but it was off, it was chewy. Thinking I was just in a vein of marbeling I kept at. About this time Curt was making his rounds and I explained the problem. He sent over a replacement about the time my wife was done with her entree. The outside edge I cut into was tender, when I got 1/3 in it became chewy. At this point Nick walked by and I mentioned my frustration and said someone really needs to try this, Curt was nowhere in sight. I babysit adults for a living and really just wanted the meal Ive had many times before [my week just stressed me out]. I really didnt feel like being that complaining customer, tired and disappointed I paid my bill and left. Passing by the hostess station I did ask that someone try my steak, 90% of it still on the plate. I dont feel they gave me a bad cut on purpose, I dont know what happened.

Ding one star, this is probably an anomaly. 🤔

Online ordering never works, $25 pickup minimum.

burger is no flavor even patty is good quality. Suggested tip minimal starts 20% but didn’t feel 20% level service. Server ignore us twice even it’s Monday lunch time, so pretty quite inside. Ends up with a really nasty Togo bag…😥and still have to leave 20% tips…

Neat place. We dined on a few appetizers and salads to make an interesting meal. We liked the Bacon wrapped dates better than the short rib egg rolls but both were terrific. Decent wine list.

my wife an I were there for Ray Stevens inauguration party. We had the calamari, and the burger and fries. Both excellently cooked and very tasty. I had a bloody mary and it was the best I ever had. And we topped it off with the chocolate cake. AND THAT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! The owner checked in with us a few times to see if everything was ok, and the staff was all very kind to us. We love this place n ill return soon.

Been going to eat at Foxfire for a few years now - my husband liked the steaks. I am not a steak eater but they had a delicious stuffed red pepper entree on top a bed of red pepper risotto. Went there Saturday night and they changed the menu again & raised the price of the stuffed peppers. Ok, I’m thinking, I really like the meal. Come to find out besides just raising the price of 1 red pepper cut in half - they also took away the risotto that accompanied the meal. So for $25 u get a red pepper cut in half stuffed with veggies. Feel like they’re trying to make fools out of their customers. Will not be going back.

Went there with a business party of four. Had reservations and were sat towards the back but due to a front door and back door that have no vestibules, as bar patrons were coming and going my guests were constantly cold. The service was very very slow, and the steak was nervy and not worth the price. The Chicken Marsala was dry but covered in their wine demi-glace to cover it up with a small portion of garlic mashed potatoes. The calamari appetizer and tuna were ok, but nothing to write home about. We all agreed that there are many better (more comfortable) options for less money in the area (on 3rd street or in St Charles), that are actual restaurants first and bars second. This "restaurant" needs to retrain their staff, or they won't need to worry about it much longer . . . albeit they have daily specials that are cheap and tend to keep traffic coming in. This is not a high-end place but a "bar restaurant" that wants to be viewed as classy but isn't. Will not be back for a business dinner, plus the server wanted to ignore the slowness, he was one of those that is always right while everyone else is wrong. Not sure that makes sense when you relay on creating memories and an experience while earning tips. Not worth any more words at this point. Go elsewhere - you will be happy you did.

This place was really great as a whole but service was slow, not bad, just slow, and my specific dish was ok. But other people's were fantastic.
Lively with live music that night. Super busy all night long. Very enjoyable place to go with friends. It's too loud to consider going for a quiet night out though.
