Great find while visiting Geneva. Wasn’t sure what to expect after looking through previous menus posted online. Would definitely recommend the scallops. Hands down one of the best dining experiences in Geneva and Kane County.

Our server was absolutely delightful and the ambiance was exactly what we needed. Every dish left us appreciating the flavors and textures. The Yuzu cocktail was 😘.

Amazing flavors, Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Mussel dish Best I ever flavors were out of this world. Also, have lamb. Could have gave you a little bit more for $48. But the plate came out like a work of art. So much flavors in the food. As they say you get what you pay. But again could have gave you a few more pieces of lamb. Also had shrimp appetizer which was amazing. My recommendation would be to put some artisan crackers so you can soak up the sauce or some soft bread.

Drink about you. It's just way too much crazy to make a choice. Have one of the best bars for bourbon and other spirits.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in the area now! Went here tonight for our anniversary for the first time and have zero complaints! Andrea was fantastic, attentive and extremely kind. Would come back just for the service even if the food wasn't as incredible as it was!

We had the brioche carrot cake appetizer. Super satisfying, warm fresh baked bread with sweet and salty butter and spread. We also took home a side of the mac and cheese which is so decadent and creamy. The broccolini and cornbread top added such a nice texture.

My wife had the scallops which were served with a table side sauce poured into the dish. Super premium and cooked to perfection, she loved the various textures, vegetables and sauces lingering throughout the dish.

I had the special which was a ribeye served with mushroom, potato croquettes, mustard greens and bordelaise sauce. Absolutely outstanding, legit no notes. Couldn't have asked for a better steak dish.

For dessert, we shared the lemon cheesecake and the Schrute chocolate cake. Very different dishes but both such a satisying end to our meal. The cheesecake was refreshing yet caramelly with so many varying textures and browned butter notes. The chocolate cake was somehow rich yet light. The fluff added a nostalgic aspect to the dish along with the sorbet. This was my favorite two of the desserts.

I also want to mention that the bartenders are killing it. I had two different old fashioned which were made with the perfect ratios. Interested in trying their various whiskeys but their cocktail menu is pretty stacked.

I love Niche and can't wait to come back. Tbe staff was great and welcoming, food was consistently delicious, atmosphere was cozy and the drinks were spot on. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend!

Brought wife here for anniversary and I would recommend. Steaks were good. Server was solid and friendly. Half price wine, can’t beat that. Good vibe for anniversary and appropriate quality for a nice event.

Best restaurant in the Fox Valley.
Excellent food. Nice ambiance, feels cozy. Music is not too loud.
They use quality ingredients and do not cut corners. Always seem to be experimenting with new foods.
Don’t love the new seating arrangement for 2 tops, you are right next to other couples and it is a little awkward.
Service in the main dining area is almost always outstanding. Bar area service is hit or miss.

After going to Niche for years, we finally had the opportunity to attend one of their special dinner nights where the whole restaurant has the same coursed out menu. The menu was inspired by Mexico and the food was absolutely superb.

Named one of the best small town restaurants among other accolades, Niche, lived up to the hype. Set in an historic building along the quaint streets of Geneva, it was dark and romantic but inviting.

☑️ Amazing drinks (bourbon and whiskey lovers this is for you) 🍸🥃
☑️ Seasonally rotating menu for freshness
☑️ Crab cake appetizer, venison tenderloins melted in your mouth and sturgeon complete with cracklings 😋
☑️ The lightest pumpkin cheesecake with the most delicious candied pepitas
☑️ Niche coffee is a must…who doesn’t like drinks that are set on fire?! 🔥☕️

Nice atmosphere and design. Very good service.
Pretzel appetizer was good. I had the halibut which was good but my wife ended up getting food poisoning from the sturgeon.

Won’t be going back.

This is our regular go-to restaurant. I was excited to eat there because it had been a few months and there were some new dishes on the menu. The wife had the Atlantic salmon and loved it. The light fish with the creamy rutabaga risotto was a perfect flavor. I had the swordfish and was extremely impressed. There were countless components to the dish and all were married together perfectly. We shared the butternut squash soup and the baby spinach salad, both of which were executed well. I honestly have never had a bad dish at Niche and look forward to our next visit.

We tried Niche for the first time and had a great dinner. You can't beat the location in downtown Geneva by all the shopping. We started with the goat cheese waffle with short rib marmalade and it was excellent. The espresso martini was also very good. They had a nice selection of appetizers which could make a great meal by themselves.

For dinner we had the half chicken with farro tabbouleh and falafel and also the seared Cobia with Himalayan red rice. The chicken dish was luke warm so it would have been better had it been served hot. The fish was excellent. Everything was beautifully plated and service was outstanding. We did try the caramelized pound cake for dessert and that was amazing. Overall a very good dinner, I would definitely return.
