Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store

I had the new Apple Crisp Sundae today. I was so excited to try it. What a let down.. A few apple slices with the smallest scoop of ice cream and a some caramel sauce. All yours for $10. Really? Not the first time, there's always a problem with this place. Either the ice cream is falling off the cone or the portion size is ridiculous. Its no wonder Oberweis is going under. Shameful... I will have to go to North Aurora if I want the sundae done right.

The staff was EXCELLENT. I felt very valued as a customer.

OMG! So good!!!

One employee in a black hoodie whom i've never seen before made me feel quite uncomfortable. He commented on my appearance which I considered very inappropriate.

boyfriend and i ordered fries and chicken tender, why were the french fries soo soggy? there was also a whole end of a raw potato in our meal! chicken was mid and soggy. hot chocolate tasted like sour white milk. not good. this establishment used to be better ong.

Ok so I’ve been to this place many times but today I was a little disappointed. For one I order 4 piece chicken tenders and it looked like I got 2 for that i would have asked for 6. The chicken tenders were super small. They did give a lot of fries. Of course I had to get my ice cream. But again the waffle bowl was stale. Very disappointing. I’m not sure how they check if the waffle are stale or how long they have them out for. Hopefully next time I go the food is better.

Just a little dissatisfied our Sundays were melted by the time we got them I waited 1/2 hour for 2 hot dogs 2 sundays

Quality of the burgers was right on. The patty had a good flavor. Just did not fit the bun which is always a bummer for me. The truffle fries were delicious. Worth the up charge.

The pizza was thick and chewy. Heavy on sauce and light on cheese.

About $12-15 per person.

Today was my first time trying oberweis ice cream and I was helped out by a kind young man named Tom. He was super patient while I decided what I wanted and he made sure I was extra well prepared to enjoy my ice cream on the go on a warm day.
