The Walrus Room Reviews
Walrus Room is a solid five star restaurant. Table service is fantastic. Our server knew the menu inside and out, provided useful recommendations and was very attentive without being pesty. Starting with the appetizers four of us had Shrimp DeJohgne, the Burrata, Curds and Chorizo Mussels. All very very good. From their extensive lists the ladies had wine and I had bourbon. For dinner we ordered the walleye on rice, Amish roast chicken and the prime steak frites. All really good...read full review
The Chef does magic with every dish and the sauces that went with were perfect! We started with the Burrata appetizer which was delightful! I ordered the delicious White fish and my son had the phenomenal perch fish fry. Also, my husband has had fresh halibut from Alaska and said that the Halibut at The Walrus Room was by far the best he has ever had! We will be back! Superb!
We had an amazing experience working with Laura at The Walrus Room. I had my daughter’s baby shower there this past Saturday. It was wonderful! The food, the room, the ambiance was terrific. Everyone had a great time and commented on how well run and professional everyone was. Laura was so attentive, no one had to ask for anything. I can’t say enough about how great our party went. I highly recommend having an event there, and going to dinner there. We’ve been several times...read full review

The Walrus Room offers an inviting and intimate atmosphere, complete with attentive and top-notch service. The menu features creative and outstanding dishes, such as cheese curds with black garlic dipping sauce. Guests can enjoy the Saturday night prime rib supper club special, which was excellent, the best in a very long time. The special includes a choice of salad or soup, along with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The cocktail menu is impressive, and from the first glass of wine to the last bite of Limoncello cheesecake, everything was delicious. This cute local “Super Club” has a classy yet comfortable vibe, making it suitable for both solo visitors and larger groups. Guests often enjoy the quiet environment. The food is well prepared and came in a reasonable time. Pricing was extremely reasonable. Service is efficient and the best ever, with staff who are very attentive and so much fun. Overall, The Walrus Room provides excellent food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination. It is regarded as a jewel in the western suburbs.
