We love stopping by Up North Wine Tasting Room! Warm, welcoming atmosphere, attentive and knowledgeable staff, and amazing northern Michigan wines! My hubby loves the Traverse City Whiskey products. We will definitely be back!!!!

This place has such a great vibe. Great wine, whiskey, cider, and beer options available as well as snacks including a charcuterie board and various cheese spreads with crackers.
There's plenty of seating inside - ranging from couches and chairs to tables, as well as a patio out back. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to come back!

Lovely place! I was there with six other friends, for a Bachelorette get together! We did the wine flight, charcuterie board and cheese dip with crackers! All was good and the service was excellent! We happen to be there when a singer came to play live so it was nice touch! The place is very cozy, so you can make it as formal or casual as you want, and enjoy your wine, alone or with friends!

We ordered a bottle of wine and then they hit us for a $10 on premise fee they call it. Well where do you think I want to drink it?! No where on their website or menu does it tell you of this fee. Also, if you want a tasting, it must be done standing at the bar. Well all the tables were empty and about 10 people were standing at the bar with no room for a tasting if I had wanted. I will not be returning, there are a lot of other more friendly places to enjoy wine in Geneva.

My friend and I stopped in and found such a CUTE & cozy place to sip great wine and read our books! We were there in the evening and loved everything about the place- the atmosphere, decor, seating/room arrangements, the wine, and of course the very welcoming staff. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Had a planned event with wine & a beautiful charcuterie board made by Amy. As an organization, we have worked with Up North since they opened. Fantastic people, atmosphere, and wine. We love coming back every year for our event. My favorite local place!
Dietary restrictions: I am gluten-free and Amy worked with me to find gf options for the charcuterie board. Such thoughtfulness and service! I wish you could see the picture of the amazing board!

Long day for myself , my wife, and our employees. Perfect atmosphere and great service. Some reviews showed it was pricey. They are right in line with other wineries in the area. We definitely will be going back. This is a winery not a restaurant so I recommend stopping for a glass before going to a great restaurant nearby or after!!!
