We were out at NIU and heading home, but had to stop at the Genoa Cafe for Brunch. My 9 yr old Grand Daughter had the Mickey Mouse Pancakes with Sausage links and Whip Cream. I had the Corn Beef Hash Skillet with Cheddar Cheese and it Just perfect and delicious. If you are in the area, stop in and say hello to everyone.

This is my hometown diner, great food, service, and customers. Eat here often for breakfast on the weekend. There are a lot of regulars that come here and some of them even help out n will come pour you coffee refills. This is truly how you would imagine a small community diner to be. Love this place

Good small town old school diner. Food is good, service is good. Not fancy or pretentious, and prices are very good compared to bigger better known breakfast places. Lot of farmers, and locals not loud or obnoxious like some places can be. Looking for a reasonably priced breakfast or lunch with simply good food, and small town feel Genoa Cafe is a great choice.
