My boyfriend and I visited recently with his mom while she was in town, and all three of us absolutely loved our experience! The staff is so friendly, the place is beautiful (seriously, the perfect blend of cozy and classy), and the wine is top-notch. So pumped that such a brilliant little winery is here in Genoa!
Great wines, knowledgeable and friendly staff made us feel like family. Will be going back frequently!

Prairie State Winery is a relaxing spot to enjoy award-winning wines and cocktails with friends. The staff is friendly and makes visitors feel welcome. During busy times, there may be a wait, but the beautiful setting, which combines cozy and classy elements, makes it worth it. The food is updated seasonally and includes quite good appetizers. There are also tables on the back patio that are fabulous for a wine flight. Occasionally, there is live music, adding to the lively atmosphere. Located in Genoa, this winery is worth the 100-mile round trip for many visitors seeking exceptional wines and a great experience.
