Wow absolutely the worst experience my husband and I have ever experienced. Starting off there was a wait and we were told 10min, we waited for 30min to be seated. After being seated we waited 10min to get a menu and then after we gave our order, 4 other couples sat after us about 15min after. They all recieved their food first, ate, got their check, and left. We were waiting for an hour for pancakes and eggs, I’m guessing they forgot to put our order in. After an uncomfortable wait, we finally received our meal that in the nicest way possible, was mid. We have never experienced anything like this. Absolutely ridiculous.

We went for a nice Saturday morning breakfast, place was not busy, many open tables. We were told to sit anywhere. We sat at a table and waited for 20 minutes and no one acknowledged us. We didn’t even get a drink or anyone coming to our table. Another family came in about 10-15 minutes after us and were immediately waited on. We left and they watched us and no one said a word. Will not be returning.

Super cute café! I always enjoy eating here when I visit the area. Our waiter was so friendly too! Would definitely recommend this place if you want a cute, family friendly café.

We had a wait, but that wasn't the problem. The server we had was not pleasant at all. We had to ask for napkins twice. She never asked us for refills. Never offered straws. We had to ask for everything. The food wasn't hot and tasted very bland. Definitely not worth waiting for.

My son went into Buttermilk Cafe and asked for a breakfast burrito; wasn’t on the menu but the kitchen staff cooked him up a HUGE burrito! My son enjoyed it fully and said it was the best breakfast burrito he has had!

Went on a Sunday morning around 9 and unfortunately the service wasn’t the greatest nor the food. Took 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee and we placed our orders early when we ordered drinks and breakfast didn’t arrive til almost an hour later. We didn’t order complex items a skillet, biscuits and gravy platter, kids pancakes. At one point we saw our server pick up a food order ticket off the floor right next to our table so we were thinking our order may have even been forgotten.

Good breakfast spot, old school dinner vibe. Reasonable pricess
Went for brunch between baseball games, and it was delicious. Skillet was bigger than I'm used to and the pancakes were amazing. Rest of the family got some fun pancakes that also looked really good (would have stolen some if I wasn't so full)
The food was fantastic. The service was even better. A true gem.
Went to the Buttermilk Cafe on Father’s Day last Sunday. My kids wanted to buy dad breakfast. They were quite busy as to be expected but we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. The server was fairly prompt on getting to us and taking our orders. After a normal wait time we received 3 out of the 5 meals we ordered and were told the rest would be right up, this was not the case at all. The waitress returned several times each with the same tale of how our missing meals would be up soon. Then she started telling us about her eye surgery like this might of have an effect on why our meals were forgotten, but she claimed she wrote them on the ticket. Finally one meal came, but incomplete and with another promise that the rest would be up soon. Nope…not soon at all. Finally after about 15 minutes and the other meals eaten, the rest of that meal came but not the last, again with the usual “it will be right up” nope again. The last meal took forever and still wasn’t made correctly as the waitress blamed the busy cooks for all the issues. In the mean time where is the manager when all this is happening. We took the last meal to go and were not charged but the damage was done. This is a nice little place in my neighborhood but it will be quite some time before we return if at all. This all boils down to bad management as these issues should have been taken care of immediately once the server was missing whole meals completely.
Took over an hour to get French toast. Food was cold.
