“Visited Germantown Grille for the first time today. My husband and I like to take little road trips for lunch on Fridays. Your lunch did not disappoint, the Dixon Cod sandwich was delicious and the haystack oh my. Half is for supper tonight. We will be back, I give you a 10.”

“Food is really good but they are very short staffed and the day we were there they couldn't handle the crowd without becoming rude. Waited 45 minutes for someone to take our order and when we asked if we could get someone to take it the service quality tanked even more. No one to take people's money, so people had to stand in line to get their checks. They do not combine their tips, keep that in mind.”

“This is the best Chinese food I've found in the area. Ordered the Mongolian Beef $9.99 lunch special. It came with an egg roll and white rice. Just a heads up: they have a $15 min. to pay with card, so I threw an order of Rangoons on my order. The food was freshly made as I waited. My dish was very tasty, with a slight spicey kick I enjoyed. The Rangoons were crispy, with cream cheese being the dominant flavor. Will come back again, even though it's a bit of a drive from my home.”

“Rhythm Kitchen has always been a staple in downtown Peoria for a couple of reasons…excellent food and awesome atmosphere. It’s cool that they just keep getting better and better. A group of us went there last night for dinner and it was absolutely outstanding! Service is always so friendly and you simply cannot replicate the Rhythm Kitchen vibe anywhere. The gumbo ya ya is an absolute must have, jerk chicken is crazy good and the meatloaf is classically delish. Even their grilled cheese is fantastic! And if you even think about leaving before dessert, you’re out of your mind. We were trying to be polite and share among the group, but there was a “survival of the fittest” mentality bubbling up at the table and let’s just say we were lucky to leave as friends. Few places leave you with the need to go back the very next day, but I gotta say, I need to go back…like now.”

“First time visit,Over all the food was average. For the price below average. I had the Bluegill with Au gratin potatoes and green beans with Iced-tea. MY review: the Bluegill was deep-fat fried too long which made it dry and crunchy. Their tartar sauce made it edible. Now as for the Au gratin potatoes, very cheap and cheesy. Whomever, makes this need a lesson in really good Au Gratin Potatoes. Their version is frozen shredded breakfast hashbrown potatoes smothered in a velveeta cheese sauce and placed under a broiler. Mine was a little burnt. I could not eat it, I tried 2 bites but that was it. My guest also tried it and was not impressed. The green were the best part of the meal. My guest had the Walleye and it was very good, same with his rice pilaf. His meal also came with a slice of toasted marble-rye bread. His meal was better. Our ice tea's were watered down by too much ice. No one offered refill/toppers. Our split dessert was their Texas sheet cake. It was an overpriced brownie with bad frosting/glaze. Our server was sweet, so she still got her tip. We traveled approximately 30 miles to check this place out. I don't feel it is worth the drive to eat there again.”

“Yeni’s Palarte is the best ice cream I’ve had in a very long time. My family and I come here almost weekly. They have so many fun flavors and so many non-dairy options as well for people with allergies. They always make us feel at home anytime we visit. They have great service and excellent ice cream. Their ice cream is so creamy, you can tell it was made fresh. The workers work so hard to make sure you have an exceptional experience each and every time. Perfect ice cream spot!
