My family and I were there a week ago. We were greeted by a kind lady at the register. We sat down, our waitress was ok. The food was very good. When were asked for a container, I turned and our waitress, responded, "yes, that's what I said"! Rude. She was tall and slim. Let me tell you, I would not want someone with this attitude at my place of establishment.

Typical pub atmosphere, Fish and chips was tasty, although I didn't realize that you only got a tiny tub of coleslaw OR fries, so I had to order a side of fries to truly have 'fish AND chips.' Strange.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very good accessibility. Ramp to entrance and no stairs to dining area.
Great place to go relax and have some good food. Service was very good we had a big group and she did a great job. I had fish and fries also was very good. Fish not greasy at all and the fries normal good fries. Over a great place to meet up with friends and have a good meal

I live in Ohio. But was born and raised in Illinois. It is just as I remember it and the food was great. My family and I went on vacation for 5 days. During that time I told my husband I wanted to go there because I miss thier food. It was husband's first time and my kids too. My husband and kids loved the food. Brought back alot of good memories from when I was little and when I went there with my parents. I am hoping to plan another vacation next year and this will be the first place I will go to eat. Prices are not bad for the amount of food you get.

Visiting from the UK and absolutely delighted by the retro decor, this place absolutely oozes "1970s family run american restaurant" atmosphere, where more 'modern' and chain restaurants trying to ape the style always disappoint. Accept no imitations!
