Cilantro Taco Grill - Glen Ellyn

Tasty tacos and burritos. Service is over the counter and friendly. Chicken was well seasoned and steak was good as well. Would recommend chicken over steak.

I’ve gone here numerous times

they have two dollars tacos on Tuesday, but I also order other things with it

every time I’ve gone there the woman who’s at the cashier seems like she’s bothered and would rather be singing or jamming on her headphones or playing on her phone

She’s just ignorant every time

today she asked us if we wanted sauce for our tacos and I said mild and then she rolled her eyes at me

At that point, I’m like I’m done and I’m saying something I told her do not roll your eyes at me

I asked for a cup of ice water

keep in mind I spent $30. She said that would be $3.84

FOR ICE WATER

the cup wasn’t even maybe 5 ounces so as I was leaving, I saw another customer with a glass of ice water and I asked her if she paid for it.
She said no I didn’t I said are you sure because she wanted to charge us $3.84 and she goes well I don’t know if she didn’t give me a receipt. I said well there’s your answer right there and I think I’m done here.

I understand maybe wanting to charge for the cup a dollar or something but $3.84 you’ve gotta be kidding oh and they also added a 3% charge if you use anything but cash now.
They have to make the money from the two dollar tacos somehow don’t they?

We were very hungry and took my daughter here for a bite, and the Punk kid behind the counter was Too frigging busy texting his Momma , to take our order, gave us attitude when we tried to order a simple burrito, and when we finally sat down, our seat was sticky, with GOD knows what... did I mention that we were the only ones there...! Our food wasn't very good, chicken burrito wad not good at all, and the attitudes of the punk kids taking our order just was unbelievable. So hope you go to Los Tapatio, instead. " F " this place...! Never Again....!

I ordered 3 taco salads, and 2 of the taco salad shells were cold as hell lol. Obviously they’ve been refrigerated and served to us put the fridge. My wife had told the server that the taco shells were cold, and she said we don’t refrigerate our taco shells. Dam, just dam.

I've been to other cilantro locations (Northlake & Rosemont). The Glen Ellyn location has been the worst. We dined in. The food was cold!! How?!?!
The girl who took our order was rude and unwelcoming. Only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because it was really clean.
This location sucks.

had a late lunch...just a taco but really enough for 2 tacos! It was enough to hold off for dinner!! excellent taste and service! mucho gracias!

This food is so gross and my food was not cooked. I just got the pork tacos and I couldn’t even eat the one bite that I had. Super overpriced too they tried to charge me almost 7 dollars for chips and salsa, and I sat down there.

I ordered fish taco salad and they give me steak tacos salad, and I can’t have red meat. It was very obvious when I called them I will never come to this place again.

I tried this place when it first opened. Didn't like it then. Figured it's been a few years and would try again. Would never go back. The birria tacos were pretty flavorless and the consume smelled like fish. The two burritos we got were both cold (we ate there). And the drinks ring up at a higher price then is advertised on their menu board.
