Walked in, there was no one in the place, no one waiting behind me, one guy walking out at 615p on a Sunday. I told the woman taking my order I knew what my husband wanted but I wanted to try something different. I ordered my husbands food and was looking at the menu. Apparently I took too long because the woman slammed her hand down in the counter and glared at me. There was no one waiting behind me, it wasnt closing time, and it had only been 20 seconds?? I asked a question..no response. I heard her speak perfect English to the cook so it wasnt a language barrier . My husband was starving so I ordered my usual, grabbed the order and left. I threw mine away when I got home and ate leftovers. My husband said it was average. No idea what that was about and i dont care. Just letting everyone else know i had a bad experience and wont go back. There are 1000 taco places around here. I now see why this one is ALWAYS empty.

This is the third time I've given this location an opportunity and it's definitely the last. The meat is TERRIBLE, the food was cold and the service was terrible when I called to complain. Ill stick To Oakbrook. Hands down.

I really great, quick service mexican restaurant. I had the taco dinner with the chile rellanos tacos and it came out quickly and was very tasty. The service was very good and the cashier was helpful and polite. I would definitely come back again.Vegetarian options: They had plenty of vegetarian options available.Kid-friendliness: This is a good foot for the whole family.

The Mexican street corn tasted like spicy water, the corn had no flavor at all. The torta was mostly bread, the salsa that comes with the chips & salsa was nasty to me, I know everyone makes their salsa different but I've had so many different salsas from different restaurants and different Mexican households to know that their salsa was not it. Their Verde sauce was definitely missing some lime juice or cilantro or something because it was very bland tasting. Their burrito belly bowl was pretty good and it comes with chips, so that was a plus. Other than that I understand why this place is empty every time I go. I only went back again with my family because the first time I went, I had the burrito belly bowl and I loved it. But this time around helped me know for sure, that I will never go back.
Cilantro is a great place if you like to eat Mexican food since they have a lot of classic Mexican food and it actually tastes like the Mexico food.

This was a second visit, and they did respond well from my first.The food is decent. I tried the Carnitas burrito, which was made fresh, and had good, if very mild flavor. The size was definitely on the small side, but if you're looking for a light meal, this would work well. The salsas are good, at least the medium and hot ones which I tried!Still 'nickel and dime' treatment of customers. Burrito is $9.95, per the menu board, but I was charged $10.35. ALSO, there is a small sign at pickup which says you get a significant discount (3.89%!) if you pay with cash. Why this is placed at the END of the counter, where you pick up your food and have already paid, I don't know. Not customer service oriented, and somewhat petty.Overall, very small for a $10.35 burrito, though still fresh and well made. I'll probably not be coming back since there is a MUCH better / more authentic burrito place a block away, with far more flavor / size / customer service for your buck! If you want Tex-Mex options, there is also another place just a few blocks the other way with a similar burrito for less money.

Super happy with the food here, it’s fast, delicious and authentic. They have a vegan option for meat alternative and can substitute the plant based meat in any dish, so awesome!!! Their horchata is also amazing as well. I had the burrito belly bowl and my partner had a taco salad which the bowl was basically a giant fried chip, so cool. Definitely recommend if you like Mexican and want something family owned

About 30 minutes ago I ordered food from this place. Didn’t check until I got home because I was very clear as to what I wanted. So disappointed to see my order was wrong. I don’t eat red meat, only chicken. I open my food and I see an asada taco. I’m disappointed because it’s not the first time something like this happens. I get that it’s busy at times but this time it was empty. Employees need to be careful when making food because some people are allergic to certain foods.

I moved to lombard 3 years ago and this place was my favorite place to get authentic hispanic food. Their quality of steak and portions where worth the cost. Unfortunately, after visiting 4xs the last month or so, my family and I have decided not to come to this location anymore, even though it's super close to home. Their portions have gotten smaller, their rice seems re heated in the microwave, their fat in their steak tacos and the meat is cold along with the beans and rice. It seems like they staffed either their family or hired kids, who care less about customer service. They all look sad and disappear after your food is given. Leaving you waiting for someone to walk back in front to service you. Cleanliness in the restroom is horrible and you can tell things have been spot cleaned and not cleaned properly. It's really sad because we absolutely have loved this locations for the last 3 years.
