Best fried rice in town! Great service and delivery (shout out to Jason!). This is our go-to for Chinese food in Glen Ellyn!

This is my favorite Chinese food in the area due to the portion sizes and flavor. I usually order orange chicken, general taos chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. All very good. It is located in a strip mall so easy access in and out. They will deliver to GE and Lombard for sure. Not sure of other areas but worth asking. The delivery driver is always very nice. The location has 2-3 small tables so it is mostly for takeout. Last time I called in and it was ready for pickup in 20 minutes. Highly recommend.

the food was simply okay. i can't speak to the service, as i didn't pick the food up myself. the sweet and sour chicken was unique to me, as it seems their sauce is made in house. i was taken aback to see the pineapple floating in it, but it was a new experience at least.. i got lo mein instead of rice with the combo plate and i was a bit disappointed by it. it wasn't as good as lo mein that I've had from other places and their soy sauce had a bit of a chemical taste when i put it on the noodles. it was fine, but i wouldnt eat here again.

It has real good food but last 3 times I tried ordering food they have been closed for no reason and it's during working hours... its a real big hassle and a absolute embarrassment

This has been our go-to spot for takeout Chinese for many years. For what it is, which is Chinese takeout tailored to American palates, their quality is consistently high. If you are looking for more “authentic” Asian food, look elsewhere (try Ming Hin in Naperville, Katy’s Dumplings in Westmont, etc) but for great eggrolls (house-made, I think) and other standards, I can recommend Dragon One with no hesitation.

We thought $55 was a lot of money for two large entrees and a large House fried rice (pork, shrimp and chicken) but when I picked it up there was a LOT of food. The Mongolian Beef was thick and juicy and maybe the best we ever had. We didn’t really know what Empress Chicken was but we ordered it anyway (because they don’t have sweet & sour chicken). It was disappointing because we didn’t want deep fried chicken. The House rice was a lot of food and delicious. We will try Dragon 1 again and we’ll order the Mongolian Beef again!
