This is my favorite Chinese food in the area due to the portion sizes and flavor. I usually order orange chicken, general taos chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. All very good. the food was simply okay. i can't speak to the service, as i didn't pick the food up myself. the sweet and sour chicken was unique to me, as it seems their sauce is made in house. i was taken aback to see the pineapple floating in it, but it was a new experience at least.. i got lo mein instead of rice with the combo plate and i was a bit disappointed by it. it wasn't as good as lo mein that I've had from other places and their soy sauce had a bit of a chemical...
This has been our go-to spot for takeout Chinese for many years. For what it is, which is Chinese takeout tailored to American palates, their quality is consistently high. If you are looking for more “authentic” Asian food, look elsewhere (try Ming Hin in Naperville, Katy’s Dumplings in Westmont, etc) but for great eggrolls (house-made, I think) and other standards, I can recommend Dragon One with no hesitation.
