Get Smashed - Glen Ellyn

Just smashed burgers, great concept. Fast and delicious. Not too expensive, but most everything is. Fries were good as well. Small place with good service.

I saw the great reviews online and decided to give them a shot. I placed an online order for me and my team. It was 3 burgers, 3 fries, drinks and sauces. After picking it up and heading back to my shop (15 minutes away) I realized 1 burger, fry and both beer cheeses were missing. I drove back over and told the gentleman at the front counter about the missing items. Immediately he says he gave me two bags and two drinks, instead of the one bag he actually gave me. We went back and forth and said he would check the cameras. There are two pointed directly at the front register, one on the employee side and one on the customer side. I agreed and said to check the cameras. He then, called his manager to call the owner to check with them. The cameras were never checked. He told me to take a seat. 10-15 minutes pass and he hands me a bag. I check inside, and I’m still missing an order of fries and the beer cheese sauce. I let him know, and he grabs them. I finally leave and head back to my shop. With all the back and forth it took about an hour and 15 minutes to get my order. My burger was luke warm by the time I could eat it. It was okay…. This place needs to do better!Will not be going back..

I was grumpy when I took my wife out to the stores and had the choice to pick lunch after shopping and saw the sign to "get smashed"..crew was super nice and food was pumped out fast and hot. It was perfection from the burger to the crispy fries and also the cheese sauce, definitely coming back for more ?

We were excited to try this place and were not disappointed. The burgers are very good. Even the fries are really good. (I like the garlic parmesan dip). The service and people there are super helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!

I usually like smash burgers but the one I got here just tasted like beef and grease. There was simply nothing special enough about it to warrant the price they charge. Staff was nice and the food was ready relatively quick.

Food was delicious (the beer cheese sauce is phenomenal!) Staff was absolutely wonderful as well. Clean dining area, overall nice.

The food was REALLY good. I heard not to eat the burger with condiments but I personally like my burgers with ketchup and wow it was delicious with and without it. Burger was juicy, crispy, and melts in your mouth. Fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. Burger was worth the price definitely. And the lady with the thick glasses is awesome, she was kind, outgoing, and funny.

The team: ridiculously efficient at whipping up your order the second they ring you up. Masters at executing a juicy smash-patty. Deliver your food to your table - a nice touch!The food: what you see is what you get. My burger looked exactly like the picture on the menu. This burger does not mess around; you feel it in your arteries as you eat. But it’s a damn satisfying piece of heaven. The bun is lightly toasted and pillowy, the patties a great combination of crisp edges and juicy center, the cheese flavorful and perfectly balanced with the amount of meat.Overall, worth the spend and worth tipping your cashier. We will be back!

Best burgers in the area, no contest! Seasoned fries are standard. Great staff, fast service. I've been here once a month since they started, love it every time!

Best burger around. Quality ingredients and great cheese blend. Waffle fries with beer cheese is insane! Not a better burger in the southwest burbs!

First time coming here today. Work a block away and always go to Pete’s fresh market and came across here and decided to give it a try. Cashier was super friendly and the food was delicious! Burger with grilled onions is definitely the way to go and the fries were great too!

I don't know how they do it but this burger is fantastic without any condiments as recommended! It's all about the beef, bun, and cheese.I also recommend the beer cheese dipping sauce for fries!

Sunday's disgruntled man behind the register was not very inviting. The vibe was off immediately. No smile, no "Welcome to..." and his massive mess of an office in the dining room was off putting as well. Did you really need to stop off at Freddie's before coming to work?Menu does not offer much and although it warns you not to add any condiments to your sandwich, you understand completely when the size of the bun reveals it doesn't hold much. Eating was a sh!tshow. Fries were good, one and done on the burger. I would go back to Five Guys before returning here.Cubs on, bad 80's music and no real reason to return. Good luck.

I love a good Smash burger. I came across this restaurant randomly. I thought the burger was decent and the quality of the meat was slightly above average. I was hoping for it to be a little more seasoned than it was; it didn't have a lot of flavor. I would have liked additional options for cheese. Not everybody likes American cheese. But overall it was a pretty good place.

Wheelchair accessibility: Fairly small place with a dozen tables and pretty open layout. Not sure about the bathrooms but everything looked newly updated.
