Not sure if people really know about this place, but it was amazing. It’s directly attached to the hotel. But had a flat bread appetizer and the chicken avocado sandwich which both were phenomenal. Very nice staff highly recommend

Most in our group had a wonderful meal...chicken sandwiches, and tuna poke bowl. Also flatbread appetizer and brownie dessert were wonderful. However my quinoa burger was not very good. First of all it fell apart when, after cutting in half, I tried to pick it up. And just not much flavor. Was disappointed in that. Other issue was that most everyone had a taste for pasta, and mac and cheese was the only pasta option.

Was a perfect meal and great service from Jess. The Sea Bass was perfectly cooked and seasoned amazingly! The asparagus, snap peas and fingerling potatoes were perfect with the dish. My husband had the Skirt Steak with Chimichurri, roasted vegetables and fingerling potatoes, he has had this dish before and said it has always been good, but for some reason this evening it was the best he has ever had it. Service was excellent and attenuative. Always a wonderful meal!

My husband must eat Gluten free food and this place has unique and tasty options which is not typical. We go here when we want an absolutely good meal and good service at a restaurant.

Waitress staff was excellent and attentive even accommodating a special request. There were 11 of us including a 4year old and they went over and above to make sure everything went smoothly

Ambiance is excellent. Service was slow and mediocre. One of our salads was served without dressing and we couldn't wave a server down for dressing for a good 10 minutes. We were never offered drink refills either. The Cobb Salads were delicious. I had blue cheese dressing on the side - very tasty with no up charge. My sister ordered the Cobb Salad with the dressing it was supposed to come with (but it had no dressing). After our food was delivered - someone should have come and asked if we had everything. That never happened. The bang bang shrimp were dismal. Small shrimps that were chewy. The fries were soggy. My partner said he would have rated his bang bang shrimp and fries a 2. The Cobb salads were a 4. Ambiance a 4. Service a 2. So rating this place a 3. There are better options in the area

We recently discovered Glen Prairie, and have been blown away by the quality-for-price offered here. Do not be off-put by the fact that this restaurant is attached to a hotel on the rather unfortunate Roosevelt Road corridor. We are foodies, and have spent 10 times as much money on meals we enjoyed less than the the two we have had from GP. If this restaurant was in downtown Glen Ellyn, it would be cannabalizing marketshare; if it was in Chicago, you would struggle to get a booking.A short but well executed menu, with excellent salads, French onion soup, perfect fish entrees, and fitting desserts. Good drink options. The chef and kitchen really know what they are doing here, and clearly have talent. Comfortably quiet; they are not trying to turn tables more quickly by playing music just a bit too loudly for people to linger and chat, like so many restaurants have taken to doing. A real hidden gem.
Very disappointed. The menu has changed to be very limited. There were more drink menus than food items. Gnocchi was pretty bad. Small amount of overcooked gnocchi. There were more peas and spinach in the gnocchi than anything else. Didn’t taste good either. The server never came back after dropping off food. First and last time here.

Had dinner here with two friends, I ordered the bison burger, friends ordered the trout and ribeye.Per my friends their food was good, my burger was under cooked and my fries were significantly undercooked. I’ll give it another try sometime.

Absolutely fabulous experience at Glen Prairie tonight. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is devine. If you’re gluten free and even if you’re not, this restaurant is an absolute must.We had Chloe as our server and she was very attentive and professional, couldn’t have asked for better! Can’t wait to come back!
