Menufy Tasty Rewards never available. I place a lot of sushi of online rders with this place, and every time it says I am earning “Tasty Rewards “. I must have $100+ in tasty rewards at this point, but I am never given the option to redeem them while ordering.

Good sushi, nice staff, wish the ventilation was better. I was left smelling kind of deep fried.

This place was cute. Our service wasn't the best. We had to ask several times for our sushi and drink refills. The food was very good, but overpriced, in my opinion. The drink options were great. I do believe they felt bad about the service because they brought out a free dessert. That was a nice touch. I would come again, but make sure I was prepared for the cost this time

We LOVE Kizuna!!! The sushi is top notch, never disappoints. Very clever combinations we don't find elsewhere. Try the forbidden black rice!
Somebody recommended this restaurant, and I have to say, I am so glad they did. Very good and unique rolls. Will go back!!
Excellent tasting sushi. Unique twists on rolls, which four of us shared so we could try several options. Great service. The table of 8, across from us, was entirely too loud - especially 2 men who didn't quite grasp the concept of “inside voice.” We don't fault the restaurant for that. We will definitely return.
My wife and kids took me out for my birthday dinner. We were shown to our seats right away. The poke taco appetizer was amazing followed by in my opinion the best sushi in Lombard. Mochi dessert was the perfect end of the night. We are all so glan Kizuna Sushi Bistro is in our town!
I love Kizuna. The place is very cute, spotlessly clean. Menu is varied, the omnivores in my family say the fish is very fresh and high quality. They take gluten free seriously, my celiac kid has never gotten sick eating here. For myself, I love that they have thoughtful, interesting vegetarian rolls. 5 stars for everything everyone should go check it out
Vegetarian options: Way better than here's some edamame and an avocado roll though the avocado roll is good.
Dietary restrictions: Fabulous about gluten free. Has gluten free soy sauce available.

Interesting rolls on the menu attracted me to this place, but unfortunately it failed to deliver. fish was decent quality, and some interesting condiments could have made this a staple. But the rice was the worst I've ever had in sushi. Worse that gas station sushi. Tasted like it was day old fridge white rice. Crunchy undercooked texture. On top of that, their knife quality control was quite bad. I had two rolls where it wasn't sliced all the way through leading to pieces falling apart when we tried to eat them. Also almost none of the pieces were remotely evenly sized with some pieces being half the width of others. We ordered 6 rolls so this was an expensive mistake to make. This included one made with black rice which still had texture issues.

We had dinner on a Sunday night. The location was very convenient with its own parking and a nice outdoor patio area. We ordered miso soup, the Fiesta, Black Monster, and Picasso rolls. It was all really good and had new flavors I had not tried before. Black Monster uses black rice rather tan white sushi rice. Fiesta had a delicious and assertive chili oil which worked well with the other flavors in the roll. And the marinated onion in the Picasso roll was a big improvement on the fried crunchy onions that many other places use. That was plenty of food for two, but after seeing a surprising number of desserts go out to other tables, we ordered a bomba (mango, passion fruit and raspberry sorbetto) to share. That was also very tasty, and I now get why so many people were going for dessert on Sunday night at a sushi place. It was a nice surprise to have a such a nice dinner while on the road and choosing from unfamiliar spots. I would definitely return when I'm back in town.
Love the Caribbean roll. Fresh and yummy fish. Great service too.
