A good spot for a walk, fishing, a picnic with some friends, they could use another set of bathrooms, a couple more sitting areas that have sun and rain cover.
But this is a wonderful spot. To share and gather.

Attended a event in the park outside of the Boathouse. Area is beautiful. Lots of geese and geese poop though. Lots of benches and places to sit. Brick pavers are slippery when wet. I had a good time walking and listening to the music at the event.

We rented the Lake Ellyn Boathouse for a Rehearsal Dinner and loved it! Laura was great to work with, meeting us in Feb to look at the space, responding promptly to all my email questions, and was patient when I didn't respond in a timely manner. The lake and park setting were beautiful, the space was clean and prepared according to my specifications when we got there. David met us when we arrived and even helped us bring stuff in from our cars! He definitely went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed for the event! Thank you, everyone, for your help to make it a great evening!
