Not only was he incredibly kind and helpful through the situation, he went the extra mile to ensure that my most recent experience with the restaurant didn’t end on a bad note. Thank you, James! Your amazing customer service means everything.
My waiter spilled someone else's red wine on my white sweater and didn't offer any reconciliation for it. He asked if I wanted him to try to dab it out with the same napkin that he used to clean the rest of the wine with. There was no resolution, barely any apology. Although, I never expect any compensation, it would've been nice. I've worked in the service industry, and the courteous thing to do was at least comp something. I was given the full bill as if nothing happened, not even an additional apology. It was just me with my (hopefully) salvageable sweater stained with red wine.
In hindsight, I wish I had gotten a manager involved but it was a busy Saturday night and I truly didn't want to be there another minute. I wanted to give the waiter the opportunity to make it right knowing that it was an accident. I accept the fact that comped items aren't mandatory and I still ate my meal so I didn't mind paying for it but I'm still appalled at the fact I saw him go to the back and chat it up with his coworkers as if this wasn't his fault.
The experience was bad enough for me to want to give 1 star, however, I added another one because my drinks were good.

First time here , who is the mad scientist that created the SHORT RIB POUTINE!!?? This is amazing ! I’m sure I am not the first person saying this . Give this guy or girl a head chef position .

My mom and I always love coming here since the food and service is great! Our favorites are the Shrimp and Grits and the Arancini (LOVE those 2, highly recommend ?)

Amazing American culinary bistro in the heart of downtown Glen Ellyn! Easy parking with right next door. The food is a delight, a great mix of flavors and different types of plates. The drink menu is off the charts with exquisite bourbons and whiskeys. Great upscale vibe perfect for date night or a night out with friends.
The food was ok. The service was ok. The noise level was astonishing. We were using our outside voices to speak to the server and to each other. It is not a restaurant geared toward dinner conversation.
The servers and staff were great, amazing whiskey selection, and great food. I have some rare food allergies and they were wonderful checking recipes to make sure I could have all the ingredients. I have loved this place since it opened and my experiences are better and better every time I come. Looking forward to another visit soon!
Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to nightshades and they brought out the sauce recipes to ensure there was nothing I was allergic to in any sauce! The chef even came out to confirm my allergies and make sure she wasn’t adding anything I couldn’t have. I was very impressed with the level of attention and how seriously they took my allergies. I felt very safe eating here!
Really great place for a nice dinner or some evening eats. Food and atmosphere are great. A little pricey.

I am beyond furious with the service we received at this restaurant in Glen Ellyn for a birthday party of five. The food was atrocious, with ridiculously small portions, and the staff was not just rude but outright racist. When I called to speak with the manager, her response was infuriating: she claimed there was nothing she could do and that this is just how they run their business. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to steer clear!

Beautiful inside, and I got a table right away. I had ordered the skirt steak, with crispy fries. When it came out, it was more of stew and drowning in sauce. Fries were put under everything, and they were all soggy. The server was friendly, but not the most attentive, and didn't ask how anything was.

Can’t say enough good things. Food was phenomenal, drinks were unique and delish, service impeccable. Food came out hot, fresh and quick. Service was good and never let a drink go empty. We tried apps, mains, and dessert all out of this world delish. Price point is spot on
