This place is always a winner. Our favorite thing is to sit and the bar and share plates - unfortunately, I think it's a lot of people's favorite things to do, as the bar is often as packed as the tables. The bar staff is amazing, and the cocktail menu and bourbon selection top notch. Stopped in on a Tuesday for a burger, and so glad I did. Had the “maize and mash” burger and it was perfect— cooked perfectly medium-rare (as I had ordered), toppings were perfect including the runny fried egg on top, bun was light and not too chewy— just a great burger. Fries were excellent. Had a draft beer, a stout, to wash it all down. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend!
What a delightful find! We were looking for a place to have an early dinner in the area and Maize + Mash looked intriguing. I had the Shor Rib grilled cheese with caramelized onions and Grueryere cheese and it was amazing. So flavorful and well balanced! The touch of horseradish mayo added just enough of a little kick. The elote side dish was equally delicious. Definitely a hidden gem!
