New York style pizza without having to travel. Recently moved to the Chicago land area from NY about a year ago and have been searching for a place with pizza as good as back home. Definitely check this place out, they've got a killer traditional pepperoni pie as well as specialty pies that are creative. We went with a half pepperoni half bacon jam pie and damn the pie was absolute fire 🔥. Also worth a try for an appetizer are the garlic twists. Their pesto dipping side was incredible and definitely made in house.

Katie was our server and she was very kind, personable, and attentive. I love that she gave her personal reccomendations and was relatable. She made our first time here a memorable experience. Thanks Katie and Nemec Brothers Pizzeria!!

So the first time I came here was in the evening and they didn’t have anymore thin sliced pizza but I came back the following week and it was so worth it. I burned the food of my mouth twice but I couldn’t help it because to me it was just that good!

I ordered two pizzas for pickup at 6:48 on August 3. I received text saying order was ready. When I went to pickup I was told they gave my order to someone else. The checkout person was not very apologetic and told me to wait 20 minutes for my order. I had a hungry party waiting at home and they were not happy. I eventually got my two pizzas at 7:10 and the pizzas were very good. I cannot believe I included a tip in my online order. I should at least be refunded the tip for my inconvenience.

Update: Nemec Restaurant did refund my order, which I appreciate. All is well now

Dined in yesterday at Nemec Brothers Pizza in Glen Ellyn, and honestly, it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. We ordered the NY-style hot honey with halal pepperoni and ricotta on top — absolutely phenomenal.

They initially brought out the wrong order (we had asked for their famous grandma pizza), but we were still really happy with what we got. Our waitress was great and was apologetic for the mishap. On top of that, they went above and beyond by giving us a 20% discount and a free dessert for the mix-up, which was very thoughtful.

The staff is also extremely accommodating toward halal, they already knew to use a fresh blade to cut our pizza before I even mentioned it. That kind of attention to detail goes a long way.

Definitely planning to go back soon to try the grandma pizza. Highly recommend this spot!

I decided to give this place a try through DoorDash, expecting it to be just okay but it completely blew me away. Hands down, this is THE BEST pizza spot in Illinois.

The sauce was perfectly balanced not too sweet, not too acidic. The cheese was rich and flavorful without being greasy. And the dough? That’s where most places fall short, but not here. It was thin with a light, fluffy/crunchy crust, clearly made from proper pizza dough not the usual bread-like mix you find elsewhere.

As someone from Italy, this place nailed it, and I’ll definitely be coming back regularly. Highly recommend!

60 minutes wait for 2 Pitzzas

Kids wanted pizza, decided to try a place we'd never been (there's several places in downtown glen ellyn that offer whole pizzas or by the slice). The pizza itself is Instagram worthy, myself not being an influencer outside of youtube will only really share the photos with you here. They have collaborated with a local brewery for their own beer that goes quite well with pizza. Great food, friendly staff, and an atmosphere that allows tons of natural light in.

Worth stopping by and getting some, a single pizza probably could have fed my family of 4, but we got 2 and took a lot home!
