The best thin crust pizza you can get in the suburbs. Great owner, family owned, and a great experience every time.

Ive been to Pie Life a couple of times already, and I can say its probably the best pizza Ive had in Illinois by far. Ive always prefered NY/NJ style pizza over Chicago, but its impossible to find anywhere that makes it right here, until I found Pie Life. They have a large selection of pizzas, all available in slices, 16" whole, or 20" whole. I appreciate the slice option because its a good quick lunch/dinner and not many places serve individual slices anymore, and not for this low price either. Its a little misleading seeing the slice premade then warmed up, but they put it in the oven, not a microwave, so I garuntee it still tastes immaculate (but obviously ordering a whole fresh pizza is even better!) I also appreciate the "what you see is what you pay" style pricing, the slices are $5, and you pay $5, nothing more. Their service is also some of the best Ive ever seen. Its a privately run business, and they truely make you feel welcome every time, they like to talk and are very friendly (the owners daughter is also occasionally in the restaurant eating pizza and coloring, it is very adorable). Overall, I cannot say enough about this place, I go to College of Dupage down the road, and for as long as I go there I will be eating Pie Life for lunch, great quality and value!

Excellent pizza if you like east coast New Jersey Style. Always friendly service, and high quality eats. Been eating their pizza for a while, and this is the 3rd location, and closest to me. Love it! If you want something different, get one of their pizzas. Definitely not the chicago tavern-style you can find anywhere in the area.

This place is legit, some of the best things crust pizza in the area. Sauce is nice, the fresh mozzarella is great and the crust is pretty phenomenal. You are doing yourself a disservice by not trying this place out.

Tried two slices today they were pre made and put back in oven to warm when bought, the slices were undercooked, too much sauce and not tasting to par. Have to go into the city for real pizza no milie's or pequods here.

So, I’ve been a follower of Joe and his NJ style pizza since they were located at the Slice Spot in West Chicago. It was a bit out of the way for me. I’m happy that he returned and his new restaurant is a lot closer to me. It’s located in a much busier spot than before but I’m elated that he’s getting constant business. You’ll find parking on the side and possibly the back. Inside, there are about 6 tables that you can sit at and eat. Seating will be very limited at peak hours. You can either get pizza by the slice or get the whole pizza. Prices are cheap and reasonable. Service was great. The staff treats you like family. We decided to get several slices to try. We got buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken, Sicilian style, and garlic white. The pizzas came out hot and fresh. When you first bite into any of them, you’ll get this delicious, crispy crunch along with the sauce. That’ll be the first thing you notice. What follows are more tasty, flavorful bites until you finish the slice. You’re never chewing on the pizza that long either, it’s just a little chew. The garlic white has a nice cheese pull when you take a bite and you can smell/taste the garlic. Definitely not subtle. The chicken on both of the BBQ and buffalo chicken pizzas are perfectly cooked. The Sicilian style is a giant square shape but it packs a punch. By that, I mean you have a lot of flavors coming together and dancing the night away on your tastebuds. Highly recommend dining in and eating the pizza while it’s fresh.

First and foremost the guys behind the counter make you feel like family. The pizza on the other hand, probably my new favorite pizza. The crust hand a crunch and the undercarriage had a nice crisp to it. No soggy pizza there. Dave Portnoy NEEDS to review their pizza.

Great place. Joe is the man. Pizza was a 9/10. Quick Service. Small place but standard decorative items. Smells amazing

Now THIS is pizza! Pie Life makes a great New York-style (though they call it New Jersey-style) pizza that is absolutely delicious! Ever since moving from NYC we've been on the hunt for a great NYC-style pie. This place has it! The pizza is big, the triangle-cut slices are foldable, and the toppings/sauce/crust ratio is on point! We had a standard sausage pizza and they nailed it - outstanding! However, I will say that we found the (online) ordering (via Facebook) a bit cumbersome but everything else was aces. And as with any of the non-chain pizza places around you'll find the prices a bit higher than they should be. Neither should dissuade you from giving them a try though. Finally, after searching long and hard, we have found our NYC-style pizza joint. And it's right around the corner from home. Yes! We can't wait to get another pie into our pie holes! (Interesting Note: this same spot used to be a Greek food place, then it was a pita place, now it's pizza... gotta hand it to them for being nimble, I suppose!)
