I simply enjoyed my visit here. The atmosphere is extra special. Better than Disney World! The plant life and art work extra special. The food is delicious! The owner is amazing and hires deserving young kids. ❤️ The prices are soooo reasonable. One recommendation. Salsa with chips too and a selection of sauces for entres. A very festive evening. Highly recommend! I will be going again. Soon!I am an Elmhurst University professor and over the top proud our server is a student there. Evelyn was absolutely the best.! I also coach wrestling for Glenbard west and I recommend to any parent to go there. Evelyn also graduated glenbard west..Go Hilltoppers.

We visited Santa Fe restaurant on a Friday afternoon in the summer for a late day off lunch. In short, the food was delicious, the margaritas were tasty and refreshing, and the ambience was terrific.
My wife had the steak tacos which she stated were “some of the best she’s ever had.” The steak was flavorful, tender, and plentiful. The guacamole appetizer and chips were fresh and delicious.
Decades ago, I had the good fortune of frequenting the now defunct Longy’s Restaurant in Lombard with my family. The taste of their tacos was a lingering but unfulfilled memory - until now. The owners of Santa Fe have a direct cooking link to Longy’s and have beautifully re-created the special fare of the past. If you get a chance, consider ordering the Longy’s tacos for a taste explosion.
The meal was great and the server was attentive and prompt. Memories were fulfilled. We look forward to future return trips.

Just whoa! I believe her name was Olga, she made our margaritas. She was always looking over to see our expressions from the drinks and food. This showed a tremendous amount of pride in this place and I can’t tell you how tremendous the food/drinks were! If you’re looking for Delish food and equally amazing margaritas….stop your search, this is the one.
We had a delicious dinner. Enchiladas were so good. Plus, fried ice cream with churros! Soon good!

Absolutely incredible service! My friend and I were downtown looking for a place to eat an early dinner and saw that the ratings here were pretty good. We ended up splitting both a drink and an entree, but the portions were huge! The waitress was so kind and brought all of our items out already halved (and the sizes were truly so big we thought we had accidentally ordered 2 of everything). Definitely a hidden gem

I have been coming here since I was little and they used to be located across the tracks. Chicken enchiladas are my go to here since I was a kid. They taste the same every time so consistency is obviously great! Everyone that I have recommended the chicken enchiladas loves them too. My 5 years old gets an al a carte one and it's the one place I don't have to worry about her eating every bite. Service is always great. Same family that has been there since I was a kid. They make the restaurant feel very welcoming. Also my wife highly recommends the margaritas!
