I live a few blocks from this Starbucks, and have been a daily patron since it opened over twenty years, ago. Continously, great staff, and great coffee (cold brew). I've never bought any of their food or baked goods (not into prepackaged stuff). During the school year, it seems between the hours of 11a -2p, the place is often overrun by high-school students who are loud and rude. Nevertheless, I do my best to avoid the ill-mannered teens, as the staff and coffee are great.

Level of service was sub par. Asked for a specific drink and was questioned about it. Women kept saying “I don’t know what you want.” Seemed confused. I told her 3 times what I wanted. Wasn’t that difficult. Especially at Starbucks where customers have choices and the freedom to create their own drinks!
I’ve ordered that drink at all the other Starbucks and have never had it questioned.
Also: Manager was disciplining workers in front of customers.
Not somewhere I would go again.

My favorite Starbucks cause they rarely mess up drinks and make them how they should be made. a lot is HS kids come in during lunch hours as the high school is near, so they could use a larger location and it gets loud at that time.

I was disappointed with the level of customer service at this Starbucks location. The experience did not align with the company’s mission statement of "inspiring and nurturing the human spirit—one person, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time." Unfortunately, I found the staff to be unprofessional and dismissive toward customers. When I attempted to address concerns about a specific interaction, I was told by an employee that it is their policy to ask customers to remain silent, but I was unable to find any clear reference to this policy in the company's official guidelines. This location could benefit from improvements in both service and communication. The customers who are treated disrespectfully are loyal, paying patrons of Starbucks. Unfortunately, the downtown Glen Ellyn Starbucks does not reflect the high standards that are typically associated with the brand.

While they did give me 4 $4 gift cards and a free coffee to make it right, this location over charged my gift card $34 and after dealing with customer service I was told “you are responsible for all charges including unauthorized charges” so dont buy a gift card to starbucks bc you will lose most of the $ to errors. Just gift people cash for now on.

This is another great Starbucks! We came in right in the middle of a Saturday afternoon and even though the tables were full of people sitting and enjoying their beverages, our orders were taken and made very quickly. The baristas were all very nice, everyone said hello as we walked in, and everyone was personable. Lots of street parking outside. It's across the street from the Metra station so I can imagine it stays busy during the weekdays as well! This location felt more than just a Starbucks. It felt like it blended in with the small town feel that downtown Glen Ellyn has.

Regular latte tasted terrible, likely the machine wasn’t clean as it was slightly sour. They made girlfriends matcha badly as well. This place was much lower quality than the usual Starbucks experience.

This place sucks!!! I would love to come in one time and for the barista to be able to make the order the way I ask for it. This is the only location I have problems with my drinks. I don’t ever have issues in any other locations except THIS ONE! In addition they lie to your face when you ask if you can use the point/ rewards and she told me NO when clearly you can scan the rewards at the register. Unfortunately my wife works two minutes away and this is the only reason I order from this place! Please train your employees to prepare the drinks properly and ask them to be a bit nicer, some of them are RUDE as hell.
