I want to start this review by saying I NEVER leave any. This place was absolutely TERRIBLE! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. Me and the person I was with were the only two people in the entire restaurant and we STILL got cold food. I’ve never been to an establishment where that is a reality. The sodas in the fountain were all flat!I’m extremely disappointed. Spent about 40$ on a few burgers and fries with some drinks. I unwrapped my burger just to find out my fries were ice cold. Not cold where they’re eatable. I mean gross. There was no bacon on my burger which was supposed to come with it. My sandwich had an onion, a half piece of lettuce, A TON of sauce and two greasy, gross patties. Will not return. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Got a chicken sandwich first of all it smelled weird. It was big so I cut it in half and shared it with another person. Both of us said it tasted so horrible. We couldn't eat more than two bites. The fries were good, but they took away the Parmesan peppercorn mayonnaise dip, and that being said, I think that's probably my last visit. I could make a meal out of the dip and the fries but now they don't even have the dip that's the end of that.

The place is filthy - inside and out. Garbage all over the parking lot - not a single table/seating wiped off.

Waited 22 minutes at drive through for my food. When I received my food, fries were cold, burger was mushy and was not fully cooked. Just a gross experience.

My order took an 1.5 hours to deliver. Doordash driver waited over 40 minutes to pick up. He was understandably upset and so was I with the horrible service. I called about 45 minutes in and was told they just started my order. I would not order from here again

Great good and atmosphere. At That Burger Joint for a delicious dinner then walked right over to Oberweis for a delicious dessert. It was a good day. Staff was great too!

Had to wait for service, buns burned, asked for grilled onions-on the menu, onions were raw. Sauce only in the middle of the burger. When food was brought out, it was dropped in front of us.

That Burger Joint is a fast casual burger place owned by Oberweis Dairy. They shares a building with Oberweis and a Woodgrain pizza. I would assume Woodgrain is also owned by Oberweis. There is very little dividing the three businesses. If you're eating at That Burger Joint or Woodgrain and there are tons of loud kids at Oberweis, it will definitely affect your dining experience. After visiting the DuPage County Fairgrounds late night flea market, I picked up some dinner here. There were a ton of loud kids/teens at Oberweis. Only one employee doing all of the That Burger Joint work, so service was very slow. I ordered a patty melt. Good meat, cheese, and onions on grilled rye bread. My only complaint about my food was that it was very salty...and I think it was something on the bread. My boyfriend got the steakhouse burger (mushrooms, blue cheese, and peppercorn mayo). He really liked his food. And we shared some cheese fries. Overall, the food was decent. I might come back, but not likely to the Glen Ellyn location as it's quite a distance from home.

Unfortunately, I can't give a good review. I was excited to finally try this place. The service lacked in many ways... took a while for them to acknowledge we were there and take our order. It took over 25 minutes to get our food, my burger order was wrong, and the fries were over done. It is also pricey. It was over $30 for 2 burgers w/fries and 2 drinks. I can't even say "but they were overworked" or "but they were really nice/really trying". (I am very empathetic to the food and service industry.... they work very hard and so many customers are thankless). But they made no eye contact with us, it's like we were a bother to them and there were only 2 other customers there, so it's not like they were behind due to customers. ?

Generation Z...bunch of idiots. Samantha, the cashier...very very d*** and or high on something. Repeated the order 4 times and was not very well trained. Other staff were very confused. Food was good, close to Shake Shack style but not quality. I'm waiting for the rat poison to kick in. First time customers and we won't be back. Thanks for the uneventful experience.
