Stopped in here before an appointment and wasted $25. Ordered two 16oz smoothies (PB Chicolate & Brave). For some reason the smoothies kept coming up short so the young lady had to make each smoothie 2x’s. I’m now running late for my appointment - it took forever. I get to my appointment and taste the Brave smoothie and it’s thick & warm - so gross. The PB Chocolate was thick and slightly cooler but I was told it was like drinking pudding. My thought is that the young lady did not add ice and that’s why they kept coming up short. A total waste.
Awesome breakfast and amazing service! Will definitely come back.

Joy bar is great but pricey. I am a frequent flyer at this location. I am generally always satisfied with the quality, freshness and taste of their food. However, with continual turnaround of staff, I find inconsistency of the making process. I get the buzzed drink and find that it is either made perfect, cold, smoothie like consistency or lukewarm, thin watery like, with no frozen product( banana). This makes it more like a protein shake on a warm day. I recommend just about anything on the menu but consistency is key for a continual customer base.

I come here strictly out of convenience when i need to grab something before work- (3x just this week- avg about $ 30-50 a visit) when the grab and go juices are dated, the salads are also old, the chickpea wraps are wet/ soggy- and today they ran out of utensils to even eat it. After a series of benefit of the doubt - i will no longer depend on them - the young staff is wonderful and always happy. this review focuses strictly on them not having the proper tools to provide the premium service.

Very slow and inexperienced service on the day we visited, but the smoothies were tasty and I'd give them another try. They were out of some ingredients so it took three tries to order a smoothie they could make, but the one I wound up with was great!

I am grateful this place exists. It’s very difficult to find real, healthy foods served anywhere outside your own homemade meals. Peace everybody.

I don’t like to leave negative reviews but this was unfortunately the worst avocado toast I’ve ever had. I don’t mind if it’s not mashed but the pieces of avocado were so not ripe that it was like biting into a fake piece of avocado in every bite. It was also so dry. I did sub the relish that usually comes on this one but I don’t think that would have made a huge difference. Gave more than 1 star for the service but it was dead in there so this wasn’t even rushed to do. I’ve never not finished an avocado toast so this was a disappointing $11 spent :(

The prices might throw you off but it matches the quality of everything, an inviting atmosphere & well lit with natural light.

So disappointed. Service was ridiculously slow and they were out of a few key ingredients (cashew cheese, possibly sweet potato hummus). Had to send first attempt back because she made a weird combo of the Bahn Mi and the Las Cruces. Put cucumber on even though we said no cucumber. We were supposed to have the sweet potato hummus and got regular - she never said anything so we aren’t sure if this was another screw up or if you were out of it. Didn’t even bother sending it back because it took over 20 minutes just to get the toast to begin with and there was not one person in line in front of us. We didn’t order a smoothie or anything. Just ingredients on bread. Not time consuming. Late for an appointment because of how slow and inaccurate it was. Not happy. Won’t be back.

It was very delicious!
Worst smoothie bowls I've ever had
Terrible quality products everything was spoiled and customer service was super slow.
A cute little place in downtown Glen Ellyn. They have delicious freshly squeezed juice. Their menu options for toasts are intriguing! I tried one of the toasts with pickled carrots, so good! The only thing I'd work on is the bar's food containers. My toast was served in a Styrofoam container, I'd rather see it in a more ecofriendly container. Still, I highly recommend!
